I spent an afternoon shopping here on a girls trip. There were a wide variety of great stores. Prices weren't super low, but certainly not bad. We enjoyed our afternoon.
We went here Jan 16-17, 2015. It was great! We got $400 worth of stuff from the Disney Store and only payed $50! We bought sneakers and toys from several stores and got awesome deals. We will be coming back.
The shopping outlet in OKC is a fantastic place to do all shopping in one place, organize the yellow bus to pick you from your hotel and it will also drop you back.
Outlet Shoppes at OKC is conveniently located just off major Interstate-40. It is a popular destination for both travelers and locals alike. Keep in mind that the name "Outlet" does not necessarily mean bargains, such is the case with most outlet malls in the USA. Also, in style outlet mall style, this is an outdoor mall setting, though many of the walkways are covered by a canopy to help shield from the sun and rain.
First of all, to be fair, this mall was very very nice. The shops were beautiful, the layout was fun and interesting, and everything was nicely constructed. But when we heard outlet malls we expected something else. Namely, great deals and sales. These stores and prices were no different than walking into my own mall. We walked around but after walking into the 4th store or so, we realized this was not what we expected. It was still an interesting experience since we don't have any malls laid out like this one, but that's pretty much all we enjoyed about it.
This is a very nice little mall. I like the way it is laid out and the canopies that shade the outside areas are much welcome relief from the weather, rain or shine. There is a nice variety of name brands merchants represented.I have to admit that my wife and I are accustomed to some really good deals online and rarely shop brick and mortar stores anymore. We expected better deals than what we saw and were mildly surprised at what we perceived to be some fairly expensive prices at an outlet mall. That said, we did find a couple pairs of shoes and some kitchen gadgets that we bought. For the most part, we thought the clothing was overpriced and didn't bring any back.
I don't usually meet any outlet mall I don't enjoy - this is no exception. There are not so many stores that you can't get to them all over the course of the day - just depends on what you like and how much time you spend in each. Of course, we all have our favorites! You can find a bargain, if you look. Some prices were the same as elsewhere but alot of these stores can't be found anywhere else but at an outlet mall. Coach had 50% off, but the original prices were very high -- again, depends on what you consider a "bargain" in stores like Coach and Michael Kors. For me, the prices were too high even with the discount! :) but that is up to each individual and what they are willing to spend. (Check out the coupon book you can get at the Customer Service Dept in the food court.) The mall has a nice covering in the main walking area to protect against the sun and/or rain. They also had some fans blowing in that area which was helpful for cooling off. There are a few places to eat and a food court (if you don't mind mall type food). I believe they had a Smashburger outside the food court. We opted for BJ's which is just across the mall parking lot, a sit down/table service restaurant which was a nice break from all the walking. Overall, this outlet mall is very enjoyable and I can always find "something" at an outlet mall! Would recommend going to Chico's - yes, some good bargains in there! The sales personnel in all the stores were very welcoming and friendly. Overall a great shopping experience and will definitely go again when in the area.
The Outlet Shoppes have a few more more upscale stores than the typical shopping malls around here. Some of the stores (like coach) are true outlet stores with discounts prices most of the time, but there are also a few stores that have the same merchandise (and prices) you would find at the mall. If you go on a good day, you can get some amazing sales!
It's a great Outlet to hit when you need back to school clothing. They keep all the facilities there clean and the shops are easy to get to. Lots of great deals.
We shopped a few days after tax free weekend. Lots of additional markdowns but some stores were a little bare. Definitely better to shop during the week rather than on weekends.
Enjoyed walking around the mall and snagged a few great deals. Some stores had great bargains, while others didn't have much to offer. The mall is clean and well taken care of. Crowded, but it was a Saturday close to school resuming, so expected. It was a steamy day in OKC, but still made for a fun shopping experience.
I honestly went just planning on looking around but ended up spending a little money because there were a few things that were too good to pass up. Very clean, safe...only downside was the parking sucked a little, but its to be expected. Outdoor mall so be aware of the weather.
Decided to take a trip to OKC to do some shopping on a weekend trip! We have been to the shops before and enjoyed our time and weren't disappointed this time around! Found some pretty decent deals inmost shops! Did run into a fewthat were not as well!
I have been to several outlet malls and this one I would say is a little above average. A lot of stores, but I didn't find too many "outlet" deals. For the most part, it is shaded which is nice.
Busy spot with many sales & good parking. There is a good variety of outlets stores at this location. I will be back another time.
