I can't believe it has taken me so long to make it here. The grounds are kept up nicely, no garbage on any of the paths. The information boards are very informative and easy to read. This is a very peaceful and serene place to go when one needs to unwind and relax. There are also trails all over for walking or jogging.
I have been here numerous times and I always enjoy it; honestly the best time to go is in the summer, when its warm out, because you can see the turtles lounging on the logs.
I went here to look for a geocache and after finding it I walked around soaking in the beauty. The weather was perfect that day.
If you need to get outdoors, you can take a walk or bike ride here. There's a dirt path off the parking lot that is prettier than walking around the ponds.
This is a nice path for kids to walk on. You can enjoy a variety of water birds and sometimes a train will go by and the kids enjoy watching that too. We have gone here many times on Sabbath afternoons for a family walk.
Very well made and unique. Lots of natural settings and peaceful trails. Keep your eyes open for frogs and things.
Anyone who likes a pleasant nature walk or birding locale needs to find their way to Talking Water Gardens. It is a wastewater treatment wetland that is not just a bunch of ponds strung together; rather is an Asian inspired, gently rolling series or naturalized areas that just happen to be working to revitalize wastewater! It has bridges, waterfalls, and wide pathways from where you can overlook the lovely lakes and plantings. Do not miss!
