wineries of washington county oregon

Toured the wineries in the area.Really like Yamhill Winery. I love all their wines and enjoy their tasting room.

Took our friends to three wineries that are near our home yesterday. They were Ardiri Winery just off the Hillsboro Highway 219, Anne Amie Vineyards in Carlton and Colene Clemens Vineyards on Ribbon Ridge of the Chehalem Mountains near Newberg. All three wineries were absolute hits, both from the standpoint of the views and the gorgeous facilities as well as the wines they were pouring. All three charged a tasting fee, but these were waived when we purchased a couple bottles of wine at each which was the whole reason for the outing. Very friendly staff, wonderful places to sit and enjoy the views or the fireplace and good wine - what could be better? Hint: You really have to look hard for Anne Amie and Colene Clemens locations - they are out in the country off little-known roads, but are definitely worth the search!
