k&m wines tasting room

A sample wine producer in the valley. Have expanded their wine selections from pinot and chardonnay to rose, cab franc, and syrah. Ken is a great host in the tasting room. Wines are reasonably priced and offer a great value. Highly recommended if you are visiting Carlton.

I had the pleasure of not only having a chilled glass of Ken & Mauro's wine BUT also enjoyed their culinary cuisine AND on a boat in the Caribbean! THRIPLE THREAT! We popped open a tasty 2011 K & M Alchemy Vineyard Chardonnay in 80 degree weather in the Tobago Cays in March. Good wine is sparse in the Caribbean - rum is the drink of choice here. This was like liquid sunshine in a bottle - bright, crisp - with just the right touch of melon and oak on the palate. I am looking forward to visiting their winery this fall! Can't wait!

Really enjoyed our visit to K&M. Ken was fun to visit with. Wines were very good! I love that they donate the tasting fee to the local food bank. Cheers.

My wife and I recently spent a long weekend in Carlton and absolutely loved our experiences with K&M wines! Ken (The 'K' in K&M) lead us through our initial tasting journey and we immediately fell in love with the history, the love, and the care that has produced these fantastic small production wines. I love to cook and appreciated how well the wines complement a wide variety of foods. We also loved the warm sense of appreciation and community that the owners exuded. I highly recommend a stop at the tasting room if you are in Carlton!
