My friends have enjoyed the campground in the past. I enjoyed the waterfall hike even on a rainy day. The trail was muddy in a couple of places...the creek was beautiful and peaceful to hear as I walked. The falls itself is better than expected too...you can get really close and take pictures with multiple angles. This is a great place to see if you live in the valley.

I have been visiting Cascadia Park since I was a small child. It's our local favorite! Lots of huge fir trees and maples for shade and beauty in the spring, summer, fall with lots of picnic tables and easy walking trails between sections of the park. The river is a short walk for swimming, wading, catching crawdads, or fishing and for the more adventuresome there is a more difficult trail uphill to the falls. Walking to the falls is worth doing! So is a trek along the river (up river) from the park to the site of the Indian Caves. I think it's about a 1.5 mile easy walk on flat ground to see original Native American petroglyphs.

We spent three days here for a birthday celebration and loved it. The park is quiet and well maintained. There are some great trails, including a steep but easy climb to the hidden Soda Falls and a quick trail to a beautiful creek. Great swimming, even though it was cold. Fascinating history of the area! Definitely worth a trip.

Decent but unremarkable. The campground isn't well cared for, as it's a bit messy, both from human litter and Mother Nature.

This park is beautiful and quiet ( A lot of history) We took the short hike to the falls and had a great time.

Oregon has some really outstanding state parks, and this is certainly one of them. Beautiful water and water falls, and a great campground.

Great state park as are all Oregon Parks. Good travel stop.

This is an old stop for travellers over the Cascades. There are soda springs which were considered a tonic for the weary traveller. The original rock fountain with tin cups is gone now, but the park, the trees, the river, and the moss remain. Truly tranquil.

I like to go up in this area and explore the back areas all the way to the Upper Calapooia River. Alot of pretty country and many rivers in this area.

It was nothing fantastic, the only draw is its accessibility.

This is a great little park for overnight camping or a quick stop on the Bend - Eugene route / Hwy 20, or a day trip out of Salem / Albany / Eugene. The 0.75 mile hike up to Soda Creek Falls is easy and pretty and can be managed by kids from 4 to 80+. The park is not crowded and it is possible to do this hike and not see another person. The falls at the end of the trail are a rewarding treat. The car-campgrounds here are quite nice. While maybe not an end destination, a great place to stay for a night as you camp though the area with lots of green and nice places to pitch a tent.A short 1 mile drive (or bike ride) west on the north side of the Santiam is the "Short Bridge" covered bridge that is an extra bonus.http://www.oregonstateparks.org/park_210.php
