It really is the "Blue Cheese"! We went in excepting just a few cheeses. What we found was "Awesome". The had cheeses, breads, wine, select deli meat. If you are going on a picnic and wants something different this is the place to stop. They have a selection of Coquette Bakery bread it's awesome. Well worth the stop!
Internationally recognized as producing some of the best cheese in the world, especially their handmade blues. A must stop in this small southern Oregon city of Central Point. Highly recommend!
They have an amazing variety of blue cheese -all are outstanding. The Creamery is a funky, bare bones bldg. The people are great & it's always fun to visit.
From the outside you just don't expect much. The cool old truck caught my eye and found this to be a fun place to visit, amazing cheese especially if you like blue cheese. Lots of interesting things to sample and buy. Stop in, you'll be glad you did!!
I had fun and will take visitors in the future. My out of state family and friends are very jealous the don't have a similar place to visit.
Award winning cheese HEAVEN!! They have so many different kinds of award winning cheese it was hard not to leave without buying a bag load. Everything from Lavender cheese to cocoa cheese. And the grilled cheese sandwich that they make there is so delicious. If you're lucky enough to be there when they make the cheese there is a window that loooks right into their kitchen.
If you are a cheese lover, this is a must go. Multiple kinds of cheese to sample, lots of choices and you can purchase meats and other stuff to make up a picnic basket or dinner if you are on the road. The blues are wonderfully tasting!
What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon, sampling various cheeses all with differentflavors and textures. I was impressed with all the samples but the award winning Blue was my favorite, followed by the Jalapeno cheese curds. I can understand why they have so many trophies and international awards hanging on the walls, simply a fantastic variey of cheese that they produce right here in the Rogue valley.
This small creamery produces some of the world's best cheese and they can prove it with awards! We sampled many and bought everything we tried. The "tour" is very interesting and we learned a lot. Employees are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every minute of the experience. You have to stop here. And after you sample all the cheese go next door and sample the wine!
Rogue Creamery blue cheese is well known and has won tons of awards for a good reason. It is delicious. If you visit be sure to try a grilled cheeses sandwich. Wow. Cheddar cheese, blue cheese and honey and in one delicious goooey sandwich. A new standard has been set.
Easy to get to...right off the 5 and 99, and worth the trip! A small place and easy to drive past, keep your eyes peeled. Sample the blues and curds. There's local wines, beers and ciders too. Not only wrapped foods ready for a picnic but a full service case. You can watch the cheese being crafted by hand. I bought the Echo Mountain and Rogue River Blue along with pesto and garlic curds. With some local apples and pears, it made a scrumptious cheese plate. Richest cheeses I've ever tasted.
Home of world famous blue cheese they all you need to get a wine and cheese party going. try the blue cheese truffles for a treat.
Cannot beat the quality of their cheeses. Blue that melts in you mouth. Great cheese curds too. Try all the samples and you will love it!
If you like Blue Cheese, this is the place! We made a day trip while on vacation in Crescent City to Rogue Creamery. There are lots of samplings to choose from and they are all delicious! Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. This is a nice stop if you are passing through Central Point or for a short day trip from anywhere in northern CA or southern OR.
Rogue Creamery offer free samples and the staff is very helpful. I my favorite is the Smokey Blue Cheese (they use hazelnut shells to smoke it) The creamery is a nice place stop when traveling up I-5 through the Medford area. They have a gift shop and sell all of the cheeses.
