Have been a fan of their cider for many years, but never stopped at their storefront (couldn't find it, actually), but did make the effort last week. The tapmistress was helpful and knowledgeable in the product and the entire visit was very nice.
We recently visited 2 Towns Ciderhouse for the 1st time last weekend with friends. We were impressed with the staff - very friendly and informed. The cider is great - a good variety - sure to please varying tastes. You won't want to miss a stop when you're in the area.
2 Towns Ciderhouse has one of the best small tasting rooms I've ever been to. Their food menu is limited, but the cider selection is virtually unlimited. On any given day, they have over 20 for you to try, ranging from fruit flavors to French ciders and applejack. They also fill growlers on the cheap for a very reasonable treat. Or get a pony keg.
We enjoy wine tasting and have driven by this place often. We went here for lunch mistakingly thinking they served food. They don't, but that doesn't take away from the cider. (We did have a cheese plate and humus plate. Not the best, but then that's not what they do.)They have quite a few ciders on tap and bottled. We have enjoyed some of them at other places in town and purchased some at the store. What really took us, was the port style cider. It was really, really good. Very fruity, smooth and complex. The place was clean, the staff helpful and friendly.
I would give it a zero star if I could. Tried every cider, hard to tell the difference, they all taste the same. Overly dry, tart, bitter and bland. With so many great ciders such as Atlas, Bushwackers and more, I can't understand why 2towns has do many fans, but part of it is there media campaign. I posted a negative review, but polite, on there fb page and it was deleted and I was banned within minutes of posting. Go to any store and you will see. Roth's, who always has local brands, keeps only 1 kind, Bad Apple, in stock and it is hidden.I really wanted to like them, but there cider just isn't good. I got 3 growler fills, Bad Apple, Made Marrion and one I forget, we couldn't finish them and threw out most of it. I have never poured out alcohol in my life, we couldn't give it away. Go to McMinnemens or try Atlas or Anthem ciders. If you enjoy sour, dry wine, you will like 2towns.
I just moved to the area and was excited to see a cider house making local brews. Needless to say, I immediately fell in love with the bright cider and the bad apple. Ughhh counting the days I can get back here!
We stopped at 2 Towns Ciderhouse and were pleasantly surprised that it is two ciderhouses in one - 2 Towns and Traditions Ciderworks. They also have several other ciders on tap as well. The great thing is that you can do a sample with five different ciders, and therefore really get a good sense of the various styles, how much other ingredients can flavor the cider, etc. Highly recommend a stop! As a note, you can get hummus and other small food options.
Their Cider is for adults only. Sorry Kids. It taste so good you don't realize it is alcohol. I like Blackberry Cider the best. If you decide to go please have something to eat before drinking. One important thing to remember is DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE! FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIEND DRIVE DRUNK!
