Been skiing at Willamette pass for over a decade. Love it when there's fresh pow but their Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Don't expect to ever talk to a real person if you call and don't plan on getting good service while you're there. Bought my son a season pass and they still haven't been able to take his photo and get the pass after three separate visits to the mountain. If you don't have kids and want a quiet place to ride it's pretty good. If you have a family, head to Hoodoo where you'll get the customer service you should expect when shelling out a ton of cash to ski.
This resort is OK...it's small but when there's good snow, it's good. The worst part is that there is NO security available for your board. Our son's cheesy snowboard was stolen, outside the lodge within 15 minutes when we went in to grab a hot chocolate. The only option was to trek back to the car and lock it inside.
Went skiing here yesterday, and it was beautiful! We rented skiis--line was slow, poor efficiency. Weather was great, and the runs were nicely groomed (sorry powder hounds), and for whatever reason there weren't a lot of people there for a Sunday. My wife thought it was because school just started back up. Virtually no lines. Ate lunch there--cheese burger was good for a ski resort. Overall a great day!

Willamette Pass Resort is going to re-open this coming weekend. Ten feet of snow on the Back Side will make for some great spring skiing.
