Was recently in Dundee and visited Archery Summit The wines are well worth the price points. Having seen the vineyards and how they are tended makes a big difference to the quality of the grapes. Living in Sonoma County I am familiar with pinots. The winery is all based on gravitational flow, so the design and architecture of the winery is fascinating, as are the caves. It fun to see the basalt up close. The wines are quite different, but represent the soils they are grown in. Arcus is expensive, but for a pinot-file - well the talent of the winemaker and care of the grapes comes out. Highly recommend it. Our tour guide and taste guide Bud was knowledgeable not only about the wines there, but the wine industry which was very helpful. I will definitely visit again!

During a recent visit to Willamette Valley, we discovered Archery Summit. This boutique winery produces a Pinot closer to a Northern California style; jammy, dark, layered and textured wine that is wonderful with a long finish. We liked the different tastings so well that we joined the wine club!!

We had a great experience at Archery Summit Winery. Our "wine expert" gave us close personal attention while describing each wine we tasted. The views of the Willamette Valley from the desk are stunning. The wines are a little expensive, but worth the money (the tasting fee is canceled if you buy a bottle of wine).

even the drive to the winery is majestic. A beautiful winding road amongst vineyards and tall trees. The tasting room is modest but the best service of all the wineries visited. Their outdoor seating is intimate and the pours generous. The quality of the wines were the best part of our visit. We Normally are not Rose fans but their Rose was clean, crisp, just the right amount of fruit and not to sweet. To our surprise it was fantastic. Their Pinots were complex. As my wife said their wines are very yummy. For an added treat make sure you use the restrooms. The walk takes you through their barrel room located deep in the caves.

Beautiful wines served in wonderful stem ware while sitting on the front patio looking out over the vineyards and valley make for lower blood pressure. This is a perfect setting for friends or just taking in an afternoon tasting. No wine for sale here as their license does not allow it.

I enjoyed my visit to Archery summit. The staff was great and i enjoyed the wines too. I bought two of the Riedel Oregon Pinot Noir Wine Glasses. The single vineyard wines were pricey so I bought the Cuvee Blend. The tasting room and barrel room are really cool.

This place could be a magical place to enjoy a bottle of wine if the bottles weren't $80 or so. We did a tasting for $15 which included four wines. The wines were good but not my personal best wine ever. For the price per bottle, I thought it would be.You have to take a trip to the restroom which is located through the wine storage are. Whoever designed this place is incredible and took advantage of the views for sure.

What a great experience from start to finish. Started in the tasting room, toured the facilities and the wine caves. The wines were great, but the people made the experience fun. Highly recommend that you give them a visit. After we were finished, they gave us wonderful recommendations on some of the other wineries to visit in the area.

We tasted some very nice pinots here. It was a quiet, slow day, so we were offered a tour of the cellars, which we excitedly accepted. We were 40 feet underground and the caves stretched out in every direction. Part of the wall exposed the volcanic rock that is part of the region's terroir. Our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made our experience here very enjoyable.

We visited Archery Summit Winery earlier today. The winery itself is set up on the hillside with a wonderful view over the vineyards and valley below. In this case, the wines lived up to the winery. All of the wines in the tasting we experienced were Pinot's and were all delicious. While the tasting list included only 4 wines, our hostess added several additional pours from bottles they already had opened, including a $150 Pinot Noir that was fabulous. The wines are generally on the pricey side ($45-85), but the $15 tasting fee was certainly worth it and the person leading the wine tasting was very informative and helpful. We would certainly recommend a visit to Archery Summit to any of our friends visiting the area.

Undoubtedly, the best winery tour our group encountered on our four winery tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative. The tasting wasWas casual, very friendly and flexible to our interests. Well worth the stop!

Our return trip to Archery Summit was nothing less than amazing. Before you think it......no, this was not our 5th stop of the day.....it was our first. And no, we weren't in a big limo having a party cruise. Frankly, we like Archery Summit's style of Pinot and a tasting in the cave is an experience. In the tasting room, we were greeted by Karin who introduced us to our host Evita. Knowledgable, fun, engaging and a professional. Evita was as spectacular as the Pinot. Come to find out, her father is a vineyard manager for the winery and It made a nice additional connection to our tasting. Yes, we did taste wine from the vineyard managed by her father. If the tasting in the cellar was not enough, Evita walked us into the winery and we tasted from two finishing tanks that were being prepared for bottling....quite a treat. We emerged from the cave where Felicia (infectiously happy) and Karin took care of the rest of our tasting. We had a lunch and sat out on the patio where Evita continued to bring us small tastings. Our day at Archery Summit was memorable. Meeting Evita was enriching. Thank you Archery Summit. Thank you Evita.

If you are a fan of dark, complex pinot noir, this is the place. In my opinion, it's some of the best pinot the Willamette Valley has to offer. Of course, it doesn't come cheap. The views from the winery are gorgeous.

We are not wine snobs. We have been known to spend $ on a bottle of wine. Previous reviews made us worry that our palates would not measure up. Our experience was wonderful! We were served the most complex wines on our 5 winery tour. We were about to buy their signature wine, when an employee cautioned us to the taxes that would be experienced in Canada. I really appreciate her expertise in both tasting and shipping. As noted earlier, the estate and scenery are excellent. Definitely make this a stop in your Oregon wine tasting!
