What a great place. Very friendly family staff and great tasting wine. Of course we bought some to take back to Cave Creek. If you are up that way, you must go!!!
We love Jolie, Deloris, Courtney, Lindsey, Susie, Gloria and the others at Del Rio. They are always friendly, happy, and knowledgeable. As members, we enjoy the "wine pickup parties" several times a year with wonderful food, music, and fun. In summer we love the music out back under the stars. The tasting room has a variety of unique treasures when shopping for gifts for friends and family.
First time with the daughters. Nice place good wine friendly servers. They need more seating in the main area.
The largest vineyard in S.O., a wonderful tasting room and very friendly staff. Their Friday night summer concert series is great! Spectacular venue for special events like weddings and family reunions.
Del Rio Vineyards was a nice stop along the way. Just off I-5 (You can see it from the freeway) just north of the little town of Gold Hill, OR. The wine tasting room is historic, site of the first telegraph in OR. The people were friendly & the wine was Very Good, with multiple varieties to sample. We tasted wine, enjoyed the scenery, were taken on a tour of the winery and enjoyed it. We will be back!!
Beautiful setting and fun, knowledgable staff! Would definitely recommend this winery to anyone in the area...well worth your time.
What a beautiful wineyard! Meticulously maintained. The tasting room is welcoming as are the staff! The Pinot is amazing. We not only got several bottles but a "picnic box" as well that was freshly prepared and perfect! We will definitely be back.
My husband & I went to Del Rio's Tasting Room to pick some wine for our first anniversary. Not being big wine drinkers we don't know very much about wine but the lady helping us was awesome. She was so helpful & informative, she helped us select two nice wines we love & gave us tips for wine tasting & welcomed us into "wine culture." Del Rio is such a beautiful place & the atmosphere is great. We will definitely be going back to the concerts they hold that we were invited to. Another thing we appreciated is that we didn't feel judged by our age, which is pretty common as it seems. We are in our early 20s but felt just as valued & respected as any expert wine connoisseur, which made us feel comfortable. Love Del Rio, their wine, & their employees!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We so value our friendly staff and will be sure to pass on your kind words. Hope to have you back for another visit. Cheers!
Patti - Thank you so much for the awesome review! We hope you will make the trip out to the vineyard again. Cheers!
We wanted to try a vineyard in Oregon and we found this place, close to our hotel. The hotel offered a free wine tasting coupon and we took advantage of it. Otherwise, for $5.00, you can taste up to 6 different wines! The wine was a good mixture of reds and whites, they offered crackers in between tasting.Susie was very knowledgeable about the wines served that day. Jams, spreads, and other gifts were also available for purchasing.
This is a lovely treasure right along I-5 between Gold Hill and Rogue River. Not only is it a beautiful and Historic property , the people there are the best! Great events, and always a new friend. Did I mention they also make great wine?
This is a little gem of a vineyard ... See you can get them to take you i'm a guided tour of the Vineyard. You will never forget it. And you get to taste the grapes as you walk by the vines.
Thank you Bruce for the great review! It is always wonderful to hear if our events are a hit. Hope to see you in the tasting room soon. ~ Lindsey
We were on our way to the Oregon Vortex and had just gotten off at exit 43 when we came across the Del Rio Vineyard and decided to stop. It was a nice tasting room with a small gift shop. Gloria was very knowledgable and funny too. All the reds were very tasty and we went home with a bottle of pinot noir for $28. There was a $5 tasting charge for 6 tastes. I read on another post that the tasting charge was waived with the purchase of a bottle but I think we were still charged for the tasting but a good time was had by all so I won't swear to it that I was wrongly charged because I did buy a couple more items and that might have been the price difference. My ability to drink and do math isn't my strong suit. We would stop again and if we lived in the area it would be one of our favorites especially with a concert series in the summer.
