I take my little granddaughter her to feed the pidgeons. She loves to watch the hundreds of birds flock around her to grab bread crumbs. New playground equipment has been installed and there are lots of tables to share a picnic. Very scenic on the Rogue River. Great place to relax.
This is one of the better small city parks I have been to. It is particularly stunning in the fall when the leaves change color. There is also a small Frisby golf course.
This is a place you can take your kids to the playground, play frisbee in the grass or stick your toes in the river. It's a big grassy park with nice walkways, large trees and of course the Rogue River! Easy walk across the bridge to "Old Town" and the many shops and eateries.
Come and watch the Rogue River roll through the middle of town laden with wild ducks, geese and all sorts of fowl. Many are tame enough to feed. Spring will give you a nice display of hatchlings to watch. The park is also a place for "Music in the Park" - Summer, picnicking or just sitting under/around one of the many tall trees that line the rivers edge.
Grew up here and it's quite a park. From feeding the ducks to Easter Egg hunts you can do it all hear at Riverside Park, just don't do it after dark.
We needed a place for our toddler to run around and have some lunch on our drive home from Thanksgiving. A quick google search revealed this park and it was a gem. The playground is new and has lots of great equipment. There were lots of families doing the same thing as us. There are bathrooms but the ones closest to the playground does not have a changing table. The one up the hill does.
This lovely park is both in the town of Grants Pass yet right on the Rogue River. Great place to relax and watch the river flow by. A few vagrant types also in the park....
We liked taking a walk in the fresh air and beauty of the Oregon Grants Pass. I would have been better to have more view of the River but we did see men fishing along the Rivers edge.
I grew up going to Riverside Park and playing on the play ground but now it is over run with bullies and druggies and homeless people. I am so disappointed, and will not allow my kids or grand kids to play there.
The Riverside Park in Grants Pass is such a lovely place. You can sit on the bench and watch the boats on the Rogue River and the geese and ducks and the many pigeons. Restful and peaceful. Children enjoy feeding the geese and ducks. A nice place to walk your dog.
A pretty and relaxing stop by the river to picnic, walk, and use as a launching point to explore the town
Right in town and right on the Rogue River. Very lovely setting with lots of ducks... watch where you step.
This park is great for kids and dogs. It's also wonderful for walks and jogs. It's large and clean and easily accessible.
Great place to walk and enjoy the wildlife on the river. We took a morning walk and enjoyed the ducks and geese.
Beautifully maintained, nice walking paths and playground for kids. If you like ducks/geese, there are at park and beg for food! During summer, free concerts on Tuesday night.
