river trails canoe & raft rentals

Thanks Don and staff for the great rafts we used recently for our church boating day! The rafts were clean and well maintained and it was fun to see the different types of kayaks available now. Your help added to our fantastic day!

My group had the best time ever kayaking on Lacamas Lake. We received great customer service and were in the water before we knew it. The employees fitted us all with vests and went over safety instructions. We didn't even have to haul the kayak down to the lake they did it all for us. We will definitely be back for more fun. Thank you River Trails for a great time.

My lady had a birthday and we decided to rent kayaks at Lacamas lake. The customer service was terrific. We arrived at the lake and we were treated with respect and the set up time to get in the water was minimal. All our party was fitted well and given instructions on safe operations.We plann on using them again and again.A very fun time

We made a reservation while the owner of the shop was away, but the employee was more than happy to help. When we met the owner, however, ge was nothing but rude to our group of 4. My group reserved a raft a week in advance. When we arrived at our reserved time, the owner had lent out our boat to some of his "loyal customers." The owner's only response was "Looks like I already gave it out, what can we do about that?" Much to our dismay, we arranged to take a bigger raft and shuttle to one of their advertised drop-off points. Since it was our second time in Troutdale we asked where exactly the drop off point was so we could leave our car in the area, only to get another sarcastic remark about how little we know about the area. By this point we were too fed up to deal with the man and decided to make our way home. The owner does not cater to anyone who doesn't know the area. Do not waste your time allowing this old man to ridicule you and take your money.

The first time we went, they got our raft order wrong and we ended up with a split up group, which was fine. However, the owner gave us no indication where he was going to pick us up, and we were stranded for a few hours with no means of communication. This made us fed up, swearing to never use river trails again.However, after being promised a free shuttle we decided to try again a few weeks later. After makin the reservations about four days in advance, the same owner told us he gave away our reserved raft, and troutdale is not exactly close to us. In addition, he answered us annoyingly about the different trails, basically indicating that we have to funds out everything ourselves without answering any questions. I encourage others to raft at Sandy, but nnever to choose river trails as your rental stop.

I highly recommend River Trails. We have been putting trips together with people coming from different parts of the country and never had a problem.

Yes I booked with them and they said to call them when we were leaving for the water and then the morning of , we all stood out on the water and waited for a no show. Even though we confirmed the night before, and called in the morning to let them we know we were on the way, as requested, the guy was rude and pulled a I cant do it and thats the way it was. It was planned and packed for and we were even spoken to rudely and told to book another day. Bad company. Does not keep their word or even treat customers properly. They should not be a legal buisness, that people should believe in.

River Trails Troutdale was extremely helpful in putting my raft trip together. All of the employees are very knowledgeable and catered to all of my trip needs. They also have amazing gear. Better equipment than any other rental company. The staff there was incredibly friendly and they helped make our trip easy, fun, and affordable. I highly recommend renting from this business if you are going whitewater rafting, kayaking, or canoeing. I am definitely going back.
