bethel heights vineyard

My wife and I are partial to California Pinot's so we have been searching for some earthier and meatier Oregon wines. Bethel Heights has great views, a wonderful tasting room and some really good Pinot's. You've got to go to the high end to find the bigger ones, but a really great experience.

So he doesn't normally like Pinot Noir but he loved these. Simple, but pleasant. The reserve labels are the best for sure.

Took a day trip to Salem. .most beautiful vineyard, staff is so nice. .. suggest to buy a bottle and sit on their beautiful deck over looking the valley.

This is a beautiful winery with delicious wines. We loved our experience here- very personable! It was interesting to learn about what clones were used and how the growing conditions affected each wine we tasted. Its amazing tasting the difference in the flat block vs the southeast block. My favorites were the South East block and the Aeolian. Make sure to stop here for a tasting when you visit the Willamette Valley!

The views from the tasting room are exquisite here. The staff were very friendly & knowledgeable and the wine was devine.

We were the only people in the tasting room when we started - which surprised us, because the wine is so good and the tasting room so lovely. We weren't alone by the end! Good mix of varietals, local cheese available for purchase. Very helpful and talkative staff. Would certainly recommend coming, and we're looking forward to returning!

Sitting in a lounge chair facing down the Valley on a hot summer day. Tasting chewy pinots while munching on the local roasted hazelnuts I bought on the way.Oh my.

My favorite place to take out of town visitors for lunch or Sunday Brunch. Lovely in almost any time of year, with a fantastic view of the valley.

Bethel Heights is a fantastic stop in the Eola-Amity AVA. They are located above beautiful views, have outdoor and indoor seating with a fireplace. They have a low cost tasting fee with excellent pinots and German whites.

We found our hosts to be very warm, welcoming, and well informed. For me, the Salem hills produce some of Oregon's best Pinot Noir and Bethel Heights makes an especially elegant wine. The Pinot Gris is crisp and lovely as well.

This winery is one of the oldest in the area and has lovely pinot noirs from older stock. The view from the deck is sensational. The tasting experience itself was low-key. Staff seemed unprepared for us.

Stunning views from the terrace! We attended a wedding in Salem and drove to Bethel Heights the day after to taste some locally produced wine. Although known for their Pinot Noirs I especially enjoyed the dry Riesling and the Chardonnay. I had called ahead because we were bringing a small group and the staff was very helpful. They suggested we were welcome to bring our own cheese, crackers, fruit and even loaned us a knife. Very laid-back and enjoyable.

We went with friends for a wine tasting--beautiful hilltop location with great views of the vineyards and the area landmarks. The folks there were very welcoming and explained all wines carefully that we tasted. Great place and I highly recommend. We came away with some great wine to enjoy at home too.

This winery not only has wonderful views and wonderful wine, but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They really want you to enjoy yourself.
