Lithia Park has to be one of my favorites, and that is saying a lot. The way the nicely planned and groomed lawns and pond near the play houses turn into a wild hillside as you walk up the creek? one of the loveliest walks around. Don't miss the turtle pond in summer - up the creek a bit and cross over the bridge. Lots of dragon flies and turtles and children.

This is a lovely, well used park in downtown Ashland. There were lots of families enjoying their day in the sun. Don't know why the pond is so empty, maybe they are trying to get the mud out or something. The ducks looked a bit fed up.

I have visited many times for short hikes, bringing grandchildren to play . The creek is fun to wade in and there is a historical area where they had car camp. Many different types of plants and trees. There is a play area with swings, restrooms and many picnic areas. Lithia parkways designed by the same person who designed the GoldenGate park. Often in the summers there are concerts on Thursday evenings.

A nice spring day and the park was filled with people. Park appeared clean with trails and 2 pools. Wood ducks inhabit the place. Close to downtown and the setting is beautiful. It must strtch about a mile along a creek.

Just amazing 100 acre park NOT to be missed. Paint, stroll, run, write, tennis courts, beautiful pond. . .for all ages. Enjoy!

I simply can't believe this park. Just outside of historic downtown, it is the gateway to MILES of hiking. We stumbled onto the Alice in Wonderland trail system by basically just trending upward on the foot paths. There is also a beautiful trail running along the creek. Lithia Park itself is beautifully appointed--there was even an active and popular ice skating rink going when we were there in FEB. A must-see if you want to enjoy the quiet side and natural beauty of Ashland. WE WILL BE BACK!

This jewel of a park is right downtown and adjacent the Shakespeare Theatre. We were there in Fall and the leaves were turning - beautiful !The day was warm enough that lots of "diverse" ( it IS Oregon) people were enjoying the park.Give it a walk, it's wonderful !

Pick a reason to love this park! There are many! Would you like to ice skate? Perhaps you would like to wade in the nice creek in the heat of summer? Hey, do you love feeding the ducks and chilling by ponds? How about a nice long walk as long or short as you would like with beautiful scenery? Perhaps you want to play or take your children to play at the playground? Maybe you just want to play frisbee or lay around in the grass? Seriously, there are many reasons to visit this park, you will not be disapointed I promise, go discover why you love it!

In addition to hosting the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ashland's most famous attraction, Lithia Park has miles of trails through a wonderful forested hillside overlooking town. What a treasure!

I hadn't been back to Lithia park in years. Visited last week in the winter, and even with the biting cold, it is a lovely little park for kids to play and enjoy the spring and summer weather. Maybe ok for a brisk walk in the winter / fall, but a nice place to spend a lazy day during the warmer months. a MUST see if you visit Ashland.

Very nice urban park that extends for about 1.5 miles along a babbling brook. No dogs allowed though. Close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Spring water is powerful.

Walking trails (easy) along both sides of creek. Lots of park benches and picnic tables. Went in off season, so very mellow.

What a fantastic and beautiful park! When we were finished walking around the town, we decided to go see the park, and are glad we did. The path up and down the creek is easy to walk with beautiful scenery surrounding it. I would suggest taking a picnic and spending a few hours there.

Since I have lived in Ashland for many years I can tell you this park never gets old. Beautiful and right downtown so easily accessible.

Lithia Park, starting at the Plaza in downtown Ashland, OR, is a most amazing park. Designed by the same person who designed Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, it's just a gorgeous place to spend time. The park is long and narrow, following Lithia Creek up to the mountains. It's well manicured and filled with wonderful plants, trees, and, often, deer. If you visit Ashland, you must visit Lithia Park. And on the way into the park you may stop on the Plaza for a slurp of Lithia water from one of the public fountains. The water is always better when you take a newbie there and watch their reaction to the taste!
