Absolutely the best golf course I have played.I believe all of us that played here (8) some of us for the first time would agree Shadow Creek doesn't compare although it is a fine course.Cascata to be ranked higher than Shadow Creek doesn't seem possible. It was a fun tim with a great forecaddie. While it is pricey it is well worth it will definitely be on list for next years trip.

As you might expect from one of Golf Digest's Top 100 courses, this place is not your local Muni course, so expect to pay some serious cash, if you can get a chance to play. The course is approximately 45 minutes from the strip on the way to the Hoover Dam in Boulder City. Once you turn off the highway, you drive up to a gate with a call box. I would guess that if you don't have your name waiting there the gate will not open for you! Then drive up to the bag drop, where you are met and your car is valeted for you. As soon as you enter, the front door, you here the sound of running water. This is from the man-made waterfall in the mountain at the end of the driving range that winds its way through the the building, check out the posted pics! The Pro Shop staff is very friendly. You walk downstairs where your golf car is parked and waiting with your clubs already on and several bags of range bags waiting for you to drive out to the range. Don't mind the Big Horned sheep out there, at least on my visit! After a bit, may caddy came up and I was introduced to my playing partner. Our other twosome failed to show up, so it was just the two of us. Caddies are a must, and we were lucky to have a very experienced one who after several holes, was able to club you. He was also vital, as he knew the greens very well, and saved me several strokes from lines I thought were going one way, and he assured me they went to other. The greens are also VERY fast, so be prepared. The course is in pristine condition, and was not busy when I was there. It was an expensive day with green fees, caddy fee and tip, but worth the expense to play. I saw several Road Runners and the Big Horned sheep on the range. I'm sure there are other critters out there, you just have to keep your eyes open. Saw a Coyote at another course during the day that practically ran right past me, but paid no attention. If you want to treat yourself, go to Cascata, you will not be disappointed!

For the 6th year in a row, we spent the superbowl morning at Cascata. The place is unbelievable and it truly the best way to spend a day in Vegas. The golf course is terrific, a bit on the difficult side too which I like. The scenery and caddies are the best... treat yourself, you will not regret it.

I would have given this place 5 out of 5. On the pure golf aspect the course is gorgeous, the clubhouse is out of this world, the scenery breathtaking, and the maintenance of the course is second to probably only shadow creek in the Las Vegas area. Not being a heavy gambler to get this place comped I paid the full boat for basically a "YOLO" (as the kids say) experience. It was quite a price and the greens fees part of it was worth it but having to take an uninformed not very useful caddy as an albatross was not money well spent. I've golfed with caddies several times and they've been great experiences very knowledgeable are able to read a green properly and saves you a few strokes on your game. Where as the one assigned to us at Cascata was kind of a boob and probably cost us more strokes than saved us. All in all, I will probably not go back here because of the price but it was definitely worth the one time though. If i had a suggestion it would be to roam the course caddy-less. Other than that I loved the experience. I feel that if you are putting that kind of money down for the greens fee you are no stranger to the golf course and know how to fix a pitch mark, rake a bunker, and fix a ball mark on a green because you are doing that during your course of play anyways. Just my opinion.

Cascata is must play for the country club golfer's It opened in 2000 and looks the same today. The course is in great condition ( call to see when they aerate the greens) The views and experience are something that you will always talk about. It use to be $500.00 per round now it is $300.00 or less depending when you go. The club house is unbelievable the water from the top of the mountain runs under the club house it sounds like a river. You do have to take a four caddie but they are good at reading the fast greens.

Cascata GC creates waterfalls in the top of the hill of a desert, like a fantasy land. The course condition was superb with great facility. Total reward card member even gets discount to play. I would recommend to anyone who is interested in desert golfing.

Cascata should be on any golfer's bucket list. The website pictures do not do the property justice. From the moment you pull up to the front door, you are treated like royalty by the entire staff. The course is in pristine condition, and the caddies are some of the best in the business. I suggest you request Moses if he is available. He can really read a green which you will need if you want to score well. I have played here 3 times and can't wait for my next visit.

This was the 4th time I have played at Cascata while in Las Vegas. It truly is an amazing property with great service to go along with the great golf. We have a group of 28 golfers and we worked with Andy coordinating our event. He was super to work with, and we had a great day. Our forecaddie (Moses) was the best, and the golf course awesome. Everything done there is top shelf, and although it might seem expensive, it is worth it!

By far the best course I have had the opportunity to play. I am a high handicapper and I really don't care about that so getting to play a course like this was a treat for sure. Walked into the clubhouse and there's a stream running through it. Locker room had name plates for everyone in our party. Small details like that make a difference. The course itself is spectacular. Built into a mountain, it seemed like for the first 6 or 7 holes we just kept driving up the mountain. They you get to a hole and the view is amazing. You'll be taking a lot of pictures. The fore caddies really know their stuff. Make sure to tip them well. I can't wait to play here again.

This course run by Caesars Entertainment does not offer any type of military discount. Evidently they have forgotten the fact that they just might not have this business if it were not for our United States Military. Send a message and spend your golfing money elsewhere.

Maybe the best golfing experience I've ever had!! The course is an amazing desert course, with great elevation changes, some blind shots & tricky greens - but VERY playable, especially with Moses, our caddie. BEST caddie I've ever had. Read every green spot on (I one putted from 10-12 feet at least 4 times - I can assure you, not my norm!!) Moses is a great guy & their senior caddie. Right from the start when you get your locker with your name engraved in a brass plate (that you can take with you), to returning to the clubhouse, where you drive into the air conditioned clubhouse & are given an ice cold towel, everything is first rate. I can't say enough about it & it's only 30 minutes from the Strip.

Writing a review about a golf course is a little bit like writing about art - it's subjective to say the least. Cascata is way outside of Vegas in the middle of nowhere but what a destination. You are really in the desert and you pull up tot he gate to get buzzed in and it's like your journey to the Emerald City has ended. Lush landscaping and dramatic waterfalls great you. The valet staff attends to your initial needs. Pro Shot is beautiful with extremely welcoming staff. They just did everything right on my visit. My forecaddie was super helpful and friendly. We had an awesome time together on the course. The course itself is really challenging but very fair. Driving areas are generous but, of course, the desert is penal if you miss the green stuff. The greens here are really tough for those not used to playing super fast greens that run away from you down the mountain. Fantastic time. It's been on my bucket list for ages, now I want to go back!

Great experience! Everything here is top of the line, from the staff right on through to the course. It is hard to believe there is anything in LV that comes close to Cascata. I have no idea how they could make a day at Cascata any better. Recommend this course to the highest level.

As title says this is my second time playing this amazing course. I had an ok experience the first time, but this time it was much better. There is nothing bad about this course. From the gated entrance to the valet parking then to be greated and shown to the locker room with your name on a locker. This course is top notch. Last time I played everyone had their hand out looking for a tip, this time the staff was not like that. The pictures on the website do not do this course justice, especially the driving range. This is the best course I have every played. Our caddie for the day was Drew. He made the day so much more enjoyable especially for my father in law who got a few tips from him. My last caddie experience here was not great but this time Drew blew us away with how good he was. He also happens to be the best golfer at the course. Course conditions were beautiful. No snakes this time but we did see a coyote crossing the fairway behind us. Amazing views on this course. Some holes have such a long drive in between them it is hard to imagine anyone wanting to walk this course. All the staff were wonderful. I would play this course every time I visit Vegas even at the price I paid plus caddie fee. The more you play in vegas the better deals you can get. I book directly with Caesars golf and they treat you good. Thanks again for an amazing time. Mark

This golf course is indeed beautiful, definitively one the best in Vegas. From a golfing point of view, it is well designed, well maintained and it is a course you can enjoy even if you are a high handicapper. The service is excellent, from the pro-shop to the caddies; everybody is smiling and willing to help.A special mention to the restaurant, where we had free lunch because the course was under some kind of maintenance that we barely noticed. A nice touch. And trust your waitress when she tells you they have the best steak sandwich in Nevada…
