The outlets at Legends is a great place to shop with a good variety of stores to include factory outlets. There is also an IMAX movie theater. The main attraction is the Scheels Sporting Goods stores which is an attraction in itself with and inside Ferris wheel, Tropical fish aquariums, animated mechanical president figures, and many displays of taxidermy animals in there natural settings. A fun place to shop and visit.
The outlets at Legends Sparks is a nice outlet shopping area for Sparks/Reno area. Its popular with its stores, movies, and restaurants.Parking lot can get a bit crazy at times, so take it slow, as you navigate around the lot.
Great place. Loved Scheels and the other stores. Great bargains and a wide selection of stores and restaurants.
We always stop by this outlet when we come to Reno and I always find some good deals. I love the Vanity Fair store and the Farmer's Almanac store. The place is very clean. Lots if options. Bathrooms are well kept. Spacious shopping. Nice IMAX theatre. Many restaurants to choose from.
I went school shopping for my kids and found lots of great bargains and a lot of great items. I can't wait to go back.
The Outlets at Legends - Sparks, is new, very pretty, clean and a fun change of pace. I would never call it an Outlet Mall as bargains, per se, are almost nonexistent. I priced a pair of sports socks with a Sale Price of $16.99, but the original manufacturer price was $18.00. Now, with tax, that is a scant savings at best.By all means, go have fun walking, look at all the sculpture, enjoy a delicious sugar-free yogurt with fresh berries, take in a movie at the IMAX Theatre and stop at Olive Garden when you get pooped from all the exercise, but sorry, no bargains.
I spent an entire day here from the shopping to the eating to the IMAX theater here (the only one in Northern Nevada). This place has what you're looking for. Scheels has plenty for outdoorsman shopping. Lids is the place for me. So are the Nike and Adidas outlets. Add to it that it's right next to the Sparks Marina, this place is ideally situated.
Sittng in Reno with a free morning we thought we would check out the Legends outlets. A $30 cab fare to the mall and the driver asked us if we wanted him to wait for us to shop.. After 15 minutes of wandering around we could see why.. Not a lot of good shops (although the Nike outlet had some good bargains), very very few people there, just one basic little café that I could see. On the whole really disappointing compared to other outlet malls we've been to. Wouldn't return.
I love walking around this place, and with the snow on the ground the fireplace was so inviting. Great variety of stores and long hours.
This is a good outdoor mall, with plenty to do. I tend to favor Grimaldies and Jazz for good food. I also enjoy Scheels for camping and fencing gear... It also has a few fast food stops that are pretty rare for our area at this time (Fudruckers, Popeyes), not to mention Home Depot being there. You could ask for better parking, esp in bad/cold weather...otherwise a grea t place to shop and hang out!
The outlet stores held no appeal for us, but Scheel's looked worth investigating. Cabella's & Bass Pro Shops, not to mention every sporting goods chain, had better watch out. Scheel's is a hybrid of both. Absolutely fantastic. A destination in and of itself!
If it wasn't for some coupons that were given to me I would have never visited this place. Even the pond outside the mall looks much nicer. There is really not much special about this outlet mall compared to those at other major metropolitan cities. I got dropped off here by my tour guide and then I had to go back to hotel in Reno via public transit. There was no signage on directions to the nearest bus stop. The mall staff at the information desk was not that helpful either - she only gave me some vague directions to where the bus stop is and she had no clue on what the bus schedule is like (I would of looked it up myself on my phone if the roaming fees were not that high).
Legends has a lot of stores that have the products a person really wants to buy. And I have to mention Scheels, the largest all sporting goods store in the world, going to Scheels can be an all day event on it's own. Don't miss Grimaldi's; best Pizza anywhere.
The usual discount shopping stores with some extras thrown in........Scheels is a fun place by itself........with small restaurant (good homemade soups and sandwiches plus gelato & fudge)...3story ferris wheel......lots of "hands on" to help you decide on sports equipment plus decorating items and clothing.........children love the "fish displays" and "play area"...,my 4 yr old great grandson calls it the "fish" store and loves to go there!!!! there is a small fee for the ferris wheel ride......the mall itself is an outdoor mall with plenty of benches,......sculptures and a "run thru" water area if your hubby or someone wants to sit outside and watch the children while you shop......take them in their swim suits.....and you might want to take them over to the beach area at the Marina before you go home !!!!!!! There is a good Cajan restaurant nearby.
This mall needs more shops, restaurants and little coffee shops. There are more stores going in surrounding Legends, but it is taking some time. The Marina is adjacent to Legends and makes for a great little walk. It is 2 miles around the Marina. Much is still under development. I would like to see a shuttle going between downtown Sparks, to The Marina, to Legends and then to the water park. I think that would help get people around.
