Driving around, we chanced upon the Sunset Station. They had a Buffet.Tip: If you become a card member of the casino,(Free), you get the buffet at a discount.Really good buffet.Casino very nice too.Woth it .
We always visit Sunset Station in Henerson to play slot machines and blackjack when in Las Vegas area. Staff is always very friendly - many cocktail waitresses circulating around to keep you with a fresh drink. Good selection of new/old slot machines and a wide variety of table games to play also. Caters to locals, but we like it as visitors also.
One of the best out laying casino resorts. Locals love this place. Gaming area is not crowded. Good illumination all around. Plenty of restaurants and of course the buffet. I think the buffet is the best bang for your dollar. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, always good.
Great spot for locals, and a decent buffet. Love the fact that the kids have a lot of activities there as well..nice bowling alley! If you join their rewards program, and are a frequent visitor, you will get the best deals
While visiting my nephew in Henderson for his birthday he of course mentioned going out tohave some fun. The first place we visited was Sunset and I had a very fine time. I had beento Vegas and didn't realize Henderson had first class casinos. Did it all, slots, table games and food. I had the most fun playing Black Jack, probably because That's where I won best, but in all I must say that everyone working at this casino were friendly and helpful. Severaldays later also visited The Fiesta Casino and though it's not quite as large it was very goodalso.
When Sunset first opened we enjoyed going over for dinner and gambling however this hotel/casino has changed in the past few years and is not a place we prefer to frequent now. I give three stars as we enjoy an occasional dinner at William Sonoma which serves excellent steaks and quality service from the wait staff. Other than that we avoid visiting Sunset Station. Lacks the quality and ambiance it once held. My husband and I both had an incredible amount of points on our Sunset Station reward cards but as we had not visited the casino for approximately 10 months our reward points were severely decreased which I found to be very unfair considering we had played hundreds of dollars on their machines over the years. So locals....beware. You are punished if you don't frequent the casino within a certain period of time. The points you have earned by gambling your money will be taken away. I will only recommend William Sonoma Restaurant for a nice meal. The Oyster Bar is also pretty decent.
Clean and safe entertainment on the outskirts of Las Vegas. Bowling, movie theater, a kids spot, and the bars are pretty good. Haven't had a water down drink yet! Lol.
We live close by so we go often to eat and movies. Always something going on for entertainment. A place where you can stay and feel like you are not lost. What I mean by that is shopping centers are near by and you can always find your way back to the hotel.
We loved the whole Sunset Station setup. We stayed there, ate there and gambled there. It really is a one-stop destination. We played slots, black jack, and craps. All associates were very friendly and helpful. The entire property is very clean; it leaves a good impression.
Enjoy the clean casino, and its friendly staff. Wide assortment of games. Nice restaurants and food selection. Easy parking. One of the nicest casinos in Vegas, unless you are looking for high roller action like Wynn. Always go here when we are in Vegas.
I just learned about this show and will be going back for more great entertainment. I went with a large group of people, we had a great time. The artists even gave our group a shout out and came down to meet us at the end of the performance. The songs ranged from kinda corny country to the newer top 40 crossover country. The musicians know how to have a good time, kept us entertained the whole night...funny as all get out! Would highly recommend this for locals or bring your out of town friends for an intimate and fun venue - they will be impressed. I think it would be a crowd pleaser for any age, but likely more for the 30-40 age group. Sunset Station treated us like royalty, great Stations property. As the host of the group I took, I was very pleased that we Nashville Unplugged for our event!
We had dinner here at a order from menu restaurant , it was good, and the next night we ate at there buffet restaurant. Both restaurants had good food and good prices. We didn't spend much time in the casino but it was nice. We considered staying here but ended up staying at a nearby hotel instead.
This hotel is outside Las Vegas. Beautiful rooms. Hotel has a huge pool, casino, bowling alley and movie theatre. We went with our grandkids. They had plenty to keep them active. Restaurants were also good.
Movie theater, bowling, gaming, & some good restaurants to eat at. Oyster Bar is very good. The casino is nothing too fancy but still nice. Reminds me of like an Ameristar.
Sunset Station has a good selection of food venues, from fast food to casual dining and fine dining. There is a wide variety of slot machines and table games to play. Movies and a bowling are also available.
