Best food and reasonable, numerous choices.Mexican, Asian, Steak house, great cafe and sandwiches at coffee shop

This casino is hugh, with more slots than any other casino I've ever visited. The buffet is fantastic, withe great food and unlimited beer and wine.

We booked one night as we were invited to a party at the casino and it is located about 40 minutes outside of San Diego. The room was ok, new but needed repairs. It had 2 beds and a small patio, cost was $315 for the night and was very tiny. There were toss pillows on both beds, they frankly looked dirty and worn, we put them in a corner. The casino was a big disappointment. It is broken up into small rooms and frankly looked like an evacuation hazard. You have to get your own alcoholic drinks at a bar, there are servers for non alcohol. We could not get into the cafe without a half hour wait so they recommended the bowling alley for "good food". I had a blt and my husband had a cheeseburger. The food was terrible, his was soggy with grease and the bread on my sandwich was hard as a rock. We got beer in "to go" cups as we wanted to walk around the outlet mall. Nope, security makes us toss out the beer. We were told the wrong times for bingo, so we couldn't play there either. All in all, we travel a lot and are from Vegas, so maybe our standards are too high.The staff were all nice, that is the best I would say about the hotel and casino. Would not return.

We usually play bingo at the Viejas Casino, then shop at the Viejas Outlet mall every December. This year, the casino relocated their Bingo Hall across the street to their outlet mall! What a great decision! We had the best time shopping before bingo and afte! We didn't have to allow extra time to navigate ourselves through the crowded casino to find the bingo hall, especially with shopping bags! The new bingo hall has great monitors, a separate smoking room, and a large women's restroom. All the casino employees are pleasant and helpful. We had a wonderful day and plan to return in February!

We stopped at the Viejas Casino as we travel back from San Diego to Tucson for breakfast. We were very surprised at what we found. Definitely a luxury property with beautiful midcentury style décor... look up and check out the chandeliers. We loved the design, but were also impressed with the smiles and welcome we received. Everyone wanted to help us. You can tell the employees are proud of the new design.Now the restaurant. We were seated in a booth that would make The Rat Pack jealous. A+++ food and reasonably priced at $8-10. I had the ham steak, eggs, hash browns, toast and tea. I was too busy enjoying that I'm not sure what Skip had...he was also enjoying the delicious and generous food. The silverware was heavy and plates a beautiful quality Our waitress, Liz was the perfect waitress. Attentive, but not too attentive. Food served hot. We enjoyed talking with her and hearing about the casino. She gets an A+.Not big gamblers, but the gaming area was also beautiful and enticing.Check it out.

Living here in California I've been to many Indian casinos...This is one of the very best..It is Las Vegas size with a lot of really good restaurant choices all gaming tables,slots,bars etc..Very clean and safe...Had a great time gambling there.

Viejas Casino is another fun place in San Diego County. The excitement of the Games, the Shopping center across the Street, and the Food. Oh the FOOD, the restaurants in the Casino covers many kinds of styles. The Fast Food, the Diner, the Buffet, and the BEST in town, the Dinning Room is just WONDERFUL. The food there is 5 Star. The attached Bar will serve you just about anything you want. Its a great place to take your Best Girl on that special night out. The Buffet is also special, I think its one of the best serving from noon till, I believe, 10 PM. I may be wrong so don't hold me to it. The Buffet serves many different types of food. Sea Food, Salad's, Mexican, Chinese, BBQ style, Roast Beef, Turkey, Steak, and so many other types. It is a truly great Buffet, that goes along with the wonderful location. Its located in the Back Country of San Diego, on the Indian Reservation and the view from the Buffet is so relaxing. Come on out and try the Hotel, I've never been there, but its NEW, stay there and relax, go to Shopping center for some great deals on merchandise, clothing to Jewelry, try your luck in the Casino. Go for a Swim in the Pool and have a wonder time. Take your Best Girl and have a mini vacation. Go Ahead, Go For It....

This casino is one of my favorites now and it has been improved quite a bit over the last few years. As for the food, years ago it was terrible. Since they remodeled and opened their new buffet the food is great. Plus the wine and beer and I think champagne are included in the price. The spread is not as huge as some other casinos I have been to but there is only so much you can eat in one meal. They regularly have Alaskan King Crab both hot and cold, which I really like. Their other dishes range from excellent to good in my opinion depending on the day and what you like to eat.There is a relatively new hotel that is pretty nice. We haven't stayed there but my parents have and they really liked it. What I like about the remodel of the casino is that the hotel and buffet are next to the non-smoking section so you don't have to smell smoke while you are eating or even walk through the smoking section at all. The gaming is pretty good sometimes. Just like any casino you win some and lose some. The staff is pleasant and the clientele are usually pretty polite unlike some others I have been to visit. Overall we usually go about once a month for a buffet and a little gaming. It is a short drive off the freeway and the shopping center across from the casino is a nice touch.

Went here on a Thursday with my gf and had a decent time. The place is clean, cozy but good luck winning here.. they cleaned me out of 300 in about 2 hrs.

Loved this casino! Friendly staff, great variety of slot machines and nice bartenders. We will definitely visit again.

My husband book a night for my birthday through his V-Club, so we got a bot of a discount. Loved the purple and gray motive, the room was a bit smaller than expected. We had friends who also booked a room and were looking to hang out in the room together, which we were able to do just not really anywhere to sit but the bed. It was nice to have refrigerator in the room. The pool was nice not sure about the lounges that sit in the pool along the shallow shelves, seemed like a cool idea but were kind of hard to move around. We ordered drinks at the bar by the pool and then when we went to go through to the casino security stopped us and said alcoholic drinks weren't served in that size cup in the casino and we would have to return to the hotel to finish our drinks (that was the only negative experience)

Not a fun experience as far as club card benefits. Was not offered a beverage by staff or welcomed! Guests were looking displeased. Where is the excitement at this casino.

Very nice and clean inside. Good variety. Loved that you can play slots and then cross the street to shop at the outlet stores. Cutural music and sounds of nature really add to the shopping experience. Had a great time. Just FYI, you'll feel like you've gone too far when driving because there's nothing around, but then there it is. Make sure you have enough gas because no gas station around.

Enjoy this casino very much, very clean and well kept. Love the non smoking areas, their system helps a lot. But you do need to go through some of the smoking areas to get to other areas. It would be nice to have the main bar in the non smoking area. The food is great, Cafe is open 24 hours. And they have a very nice hotel attached. Valet parking at both entrances Smoking and non smoking.
