We needed to make a pit stop and decided on a little retail therapy instead of the normal rest stop. We were delightfully surprised that these outlets were so nice - who would have guessed!First we used the restrooms which were convenient and very clean. The we went into several of the shops and were surprised at the selection and that the were so nice. We did not have very high expectations when we pulled over but were very pleasantly surprised. We would definitely stop again the next time we are headed down to Los Angeles from northern California or on the way back! We say get off the road and treat yourself to some enjoyable retail therapy!
Stopped by this outlet center on the way home from L.A. Located just north of the Grapevine and south of the I-5 and I-99 interchange, it's a convenient stop if you're driving between L.A. And S.F. These outlets opened in August 2014, so the construction is modern and nicely landscaped. There are some nice stores including Michael Kors, Coach, and J. Crew. Also, there are favorites like Gap, Nike, Aeropostale, Lucky, and Calvin Klein. There's also an H&M and lesser known outlets like White House Black Market and NY & Co.The food court includes a pizza place, Chinese food, burgers, wings, and ice cream. There seemed to be a lot of seating. We were there mid-week, and it was not crowded at all. They have nice family restrooms that include kid sized toilets and sinks and a changing table. We didn't realize this outlet existed until we saw signs for it on the freeway. Great find that we will return to when we drive to S. CA.
This was an interesting find... The stores at the outlet are fairly normal... Nothing premium... But if you are interested in taking a break before going up the Grapevine or trudging onto San Francisco/Sacramento if coming the other way, this is a good place to get s nite to eat and find some bargains. If you are looking for furniture, be sure to bring a big truck! Yes... The Pottery Barn outlet has big pieces of furniture as well as great deals on silverware, tableware, ceramic ware.. Etc...Enjoy!
We live in Santa Clarita, so it's less than an hours drive north to shop at the Outlets at Tejon. This outlet center is not huge (fine with me!), but offers a variety of outlet stores. I especially liked how the children's stores (Gymboree, Gap,etc.) were grouped close together. I was happy to see a Pottery Barn there! The food court is somewhat limited at this time, but the dining area is huge and I'm sure more food outlets will open up. There are numerous dining places in the area if you don't find anything you want at the outlet mall.Sounds crazy, but my favorite thing about this outlet mall was the restrooms! They are huge, and the stalls feature a large shelf area behind the toilet for storing your packages and purse. It must have been designed by a woman!
With its easy access from the I5 its a good place to stretch the legs while enroute.Plenty parking space and they are still expanding.Outlet is clean and looks well maintained. Some major brands are present but also some I haven't seen before with nice items for sale. I expected more shops but from what I understood they will expand in the future. Although a food court is present you can also grab something to eat at the other side of the I5. Most shops have their sales but you have to browse thoroughly for the "best buys" and low prices. Will I visit it again? Maybe but only when I might be traveling from SF to the south. To me it's not worth the drive just to buy some clothes/shoes/etc.
Really nice outlet mall. Loved the Coach Outlet and of course Pottery Barn. And Chico's. Really had some great does! Very clean and lots of food choices across the freeway...go In and Out Burger
Very nice mall. Clean and new. Lot's of stores. There's a Coach and Pottery Barn. Great place to Christmas shop!!
Not that many stores. They will need to expand fast. Pottery Barn was cool. The cafeteria/food court was weird. Need beret options.
Beautiful new facility, really good stores. Great place to go shopping. I will definitely go back if we are in the area.
After a long drive out of LA and through the hills I came up this brand new outlet mall. With another hour of driving ahead of me I decided to stop and was so glad I did!The property is still being developed around the mall but features many quick food stops and gas stations as you enter plus a food court in the mall. The mall while brand new is full. All the stores you would want to see in an Outlet mall location and a great layout. Its outside but plenty of shade and fans kept it cook for walking around even on a 100 degree afternoon.I can only imagine this place will be an even better stop as time goes on. Make sure you leave time
