loved the Frankenvine. We really enjoyed our wine tasting session at Cantara Cellars. The wine was excellent and the staff/owners are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return. We learned about their wine making process, how they named their wines and much more. We highly recommend a visit.

We went wine tasting yesterday with some friends, one of whom is a club member. The winery is in an industrial area so it isn't readily visible in Camarillo. It is pretty easy to find though. The tasting room is small and quaint. We really enjoyed the red wines at Cantara. The Petite Syrah was the best one in my opinion. The staff was nice and was able to answers questions. I would definately go back to taste again.

Who would have guessed it but for 10 years this family winery has blended their own wines from several CA locations and the value proposition price/quality is truly a deal.We joined their wine club and enjoyed every wine (reds) in the tasting.

It's definitely located in a surprising place, but really appreciated the warmth and friendliness of Jesse. The wine is very good and the fruit is from Lodi. It's a fun day to go on the wine trail in this area.

We used to be members and really enjoyed the wine and having a tasting room in the area - we even turned friends on to them and they joined. Cancelled to try out others but miss them and will be back soon!

The tasting room is in an industrial park near the airport which is OK if you like that type of setting. In general, I like the wine selection and quality. It's the tasting room people that could use a bit of work. Rather aloof for my liking. Could use a bit of friendly training.

Just attended our first wine club event. Had a great time and of course some great wines. Chris and John create a wonderful event designed so it's easy to make new friends and have a fun few hours. The barrel tastings are a hit and my husband has already reserved an entire case of the new Pinot Noir that will be bottled early next year.

We stopped by after reading the other reviews on tripadvisor, expecting your usual tour and a push to buy their wine. Instead, we were welcomed as though we were expected. Jesse spent some time explaining the operation and offered us several samplings of the wine they produced. We felt so at home with him. He is a very cordial fellow. The owner, his mother Chris, is a laid back personable lady. There is no pretense here. The wine is terrific and worth every penny. Come prepared to have a pleasurable experience. Leave your attitude and stuffed shirt at home. You won't find those people here. Just have as great a time as we did. Definitely worth the visit!!

What a great place; friendly, knowledgeable, great wines and great people, both the owners and customers alike... You are treated like family. Relax and have some wine and enjoy a tour of a real working winery with the knowledgable Staff and maybe even taste a little of next years vintage out of the barrel. Come by, you won't leave dissapointed...

Only wine tasting in SB that included a tour by owner. In a corporate park so no scenery but worth the stop. Grab a groupon or go taste for $10-they waive fee if you buy a bottle and you will want to. We joined the club-looking forward to our shipment!

We had a Travelzoo coupon for a wine tasting and it has been one of the best deals ever! Cantara Cellars is located in a small industrial area in Camarillo. We were greeted by Chris, one of the owners, along with a co-worker. Very friendly and welcoming. We had a choice of tasting up at the small wine bar or in the lounge which had tables and chairs along with a couple of comfortable sofas (we took the sofas). We got a behind the scenes tour and we were also offered some extra tasting right from the barrels. The tour was very interesting and informative - Chris knows what she is talking about. We loved the wine and we also had the fruit and cheese platter which was very tasty. Very enjoyable afternoon - I highly recommend that you stop by and try some of their wines - the 2009 was delish!
