Came with a group on a bus and had great seats; the Marinated Tri-tip was very tasty and weenjoyed the Buddy Holly presentation playing in February. All the seats are very good and they have a great sound system which is a weakness in some dinner theaters; even the desserts were heavenly....another place we will go again...would recommend highly!!
we often go to the Candlelight Pavilion for their shows. The price Price includes dinner and a good show. Coffee, drinks and dessert are extra as are tax and tips. We have seen about 6 shows with dinner there. All of them were good. Some were terrific! food is also good. Jane H. Claremont, CA
All of you who have been to the Candlelight, and most customers are repeat, we all know the drill. The food is not great and the menu is always the same--so why do they feel they would not get patrons if they changed from a dinner theater to just a theater. The performance are always good and with the number of years they must have a huge base. Perhaps try some shows without food and see what kind of reception. It is the only act in town and compared to other theater prices it is good value even with the food, but why do we haveto put up with the food we really don't want.
I paid for 10 tickets then subsequently was unable to attend. They would not refund my $500 and assured me that ONLY MYSELF would be able to use the credit. They ended up giving MY TICKETS to 9 other people and would not issue me any credit. I will NEVER go there again.
Took Hank & Patsy ( brother and sister inlaws) to see "The Long Run" an Eagles tribute band at the Candlelight Pavilion. They were as excellent as it gets.. One of the best tribute performance that I've seen. Hank is an octogenarian Eagles fan.. Loved it.... Food was good. ambiance very nice,
Wonderful dinner theater on eastern edge of LA county. Located in Claremont 91711. Just saw the play Smokey Joe's Cafe. Great light hearted musical with 50ies & 60ies music. No lerics all music. The dinner was delishous. Choise of fish, chicken or beef and I think a pasta for veritarials. I had the slow roasted tri tip. done perfect delisious. Runs in the $50 range. Appatisers, drinks, and tips not included. The sining & dancing, the dinner and the atmosphire made for a wonderful evening. I plan on doing it again soon.
The quality of the productions here have been consistently outstanding over the ten years we've been attending. Great acting, amazing choreography, delightful music. The food is excellent--unusual at a dinner theater!! Try the tri-tip and ask for the horseradish sauce!
This place is very fun. The shows are great and the food is surprisingly good. Wish it did not cost so much, but the price does seem justified considering what you get. They have been very accommodating of my dietary restrictions.
We were given a gift certificate for our "50th" Anniversary. We went to see the play "Crazy For You". The dinner was delicious and the play very enjoyable. We had been here a few times, but it had been several years since we have been here. The service was great. The only thing is I fell off a step right by our table. My fault really; I forgot there was that step down. The waiter was right there though helping me up. They brought me ice for my knee. I was okay, just a little shook up, but they were very, very helpful. Will definitely go back again.
I like the idea of having a good meal and then sitting back to enjoy good theater. The theater, however, is a lot better than their meals. The chef needs to work on making the food appear to be freshly prepared!
Traditional dinner theater experience. You sit with other people in long rectangular tables unless you pay more for a booth or something. That was a little disconcerting at first. Generally good shows average quality. Would I go back. No, but, Im not really into dinner theaters.
Broadway and other musical shows, done by professional performers. The music is recorded. Dinner is included as part of the package. Expect to spend $50 or more per person. Choose seating carefully. Too near the stage the sound may be too loud.
Great entertainment, good food, nice ambience, and fine service. I've been several times and have always enjoyed their professional performances. The performers are top notch and it's great to have such fine a quality theater in our area. It's a fine place to take visitors for an enjoyable evening.
After living in the area for a decade I finally got to visit the Pavillion for an night of Irish music. Really nice venue, great sounds and friendly staff.
Fabulous, but depends upon the play presented. Quality actors, nicely laid out seating. Great desserts. I love sitting in the booths which have the best view.
