The course was build just before the economic down turn of 2008 so many homes were not built that otherwise should have been causing it to have an incomplete feel. That said the course itself is excellent. It is definitely worth the drive. Even during the drought they have managed to keep the course in great shape. The rates are fair and include unlimited range balls. Very good restaurant as well.

This course is interesting and beautiful rolling through the lower foothills. Every hole is totally different and challenging. Conditions were very good with the greens hard, fast, but rolling very true.If you are in the area and love the game...don't miss this gem.

Was vacationing at Lake Tulloch and went golfing with some buddies. Everyone was very friendly and the course was in great shape, however for being 103 degrees was kind of shocked they didn't supply any towels to cool yourself off with like they do in Palm Springs. Couldn't drive carts past the rough which made the day even hotter, but the course was in great shape. I felt the green fees were a little high, but other than that had a fun day.

We decided to have breakfast before we checked out from our cottage at Saddle Creek and we are so glad that we did! The service was excellent and we loved their Eggs Benedict!!

Great course, every hole different, great pace, elevation changes keep it lively and the conditions are great. Never been there when the course is not in very good shape. Target golf on some holes and the food is good. Top choice in the Sierra foothills along with Greenhorn Creek in Angels Camp. Two stellar courses in the area.

Nice course, wild life, hawks always. Lodge is nice and easy to get to.

A good choice when I want have a nice meal out in Copperopolis. We feel comfortable coming dressed up or in golf casual attire. Service is pleasant & food is always good.

This is a beautiful new resort nestled in the rolling hills of Copperopolis. It is 20 minutes away from Sonora. It's main attraction is the surrounding golf course. There are are also several ponds, walking trails, and a large lodge type house which offers a restaurant. Many private homes are located here along with nightly rentals in case you are just visiting. These accomodations are comfortable and beautiful. The weather is hot in the summer and the roads are easy access. Highway 4 takes you to Cooperopolis and it runs west into 99 and 5. This is a great get-away even if you don't golf. If I golfed this review would deserve 5 stars.

Great golf course. Beautifully laid out with absolutely no parallel fairways. Every hole is an entertaining challenge
