Visiting with friends and they took us for lunch to this beautiful Victorian restaurant. The food was great and service impeccable. Such attention to detail. Lovely

I wanted a post card at the Fallbrook drug store (Rite Aid). My aunt said. The picture of the house was a landmark for the area. But it did not really capture what it was all about. I've lived in Fallbrook for years and been to events here but really had no idea how beautiful the gardens are. You have to see it to believe it.

Either Fallbrook has absolutely the best weather anywhere for growing plants, or there is a master gardener at work here. These gardens are gorgeous! There js a restaurant here, but it was closed. :-(

Before having brunch on the Veranda, we walked the gorgeous gardens. They are beautifully maintained and make for a relaxing stroll. There are lovely little nooks tucked away here and there. We stopped and sat to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the waterfalls. Then it was time for brunch. They offer champagne and chambord with fresh raspberries--it was delightful! We sat on the veranda overlooking the manicured lawns sloping down to the heart-shaped lake and gazebo--a stunning view. Our brunch was delicious--there were three of us so we tried a variety--egg burrito, salads, appetizers--all yummy. Service was terrific and the price was very reasonable. Altogether a LOVELY experience.

Hard to believe that this is in Fallbrook! Unexpected and delightful. We take friends and family when they visit us. We usually have a wonderful lunch or brunch and then take the garden tour. The most immaculately kept gardens! We talked to the head gardener on one visit and he was very friendly and informative. The garden tour is just a few dollars and well worth it with or without a visit to The Veranda restaurant. Not to be missed, especially if you like gardens and gardening.

I took my boss there for lunch. It was very nice. GREAT view since it was on the back porch so you got to see the little lake. Had real cloth table covers, brought out a little appetizer treat, nice touch. Service was good, food was good. Everything tasted great. Another surprise touch was how the leftovers were packaged up. Had water enclosed in box, yes a box how nice. And I believe a little flower was also enclosed. Not many seats so you have to call to get in! I will go back, it was a nice break

Got a bus ride from the Pala casino to the estate. Beautiful grounds for a beautiful wedding. The staff was great and made for a great evening. Not sure of the cost but it was wonderful!

An amazing wedding and event venue, with a brilliant garden atmosphere. Staff is excellent, food is superb. Had a birthday luncheon for 24 people here, and it was an amazing experience. Food all arrived in good time and at the same time. Staff seems very keyed in on ways to improve your dining experience. Never felt rushed. Highly recommend.

There's isn't anything not to like about this place. They did a great job with upkeeping of the garden. everything was well clean and very good presentation. Staff was very well organize. Perfect for your next event. Just wish we live closer

In a word....fabulous..! Hope they will be open more than just on Wednesdays....as they are packed...because the VENUE with all the gardens and colorful waterfalls, plus the great food...and drinks...atmosphere...cannot be beat!!

Four of us ladies went for a self guided tour and lunch. What a beautiful place. The grounds are set with color, style and careful planning. A venue for weddings, parties, community celebrations, and a restaurant. Waterfalls, lake, a mansion, we really enjoyed our day here!The lunch was excellent! We shared salads and sandwiches. Each was carefully prepared with fresh ingredients!

Gorgeous venue in the middle of nowhere. So unexpected and so beautiful. Great Food and service and wonderful staff.

This is one of San Diego's best kept secrets, if you ask me. Not just a fabulous venue for weddings, Grand Tradition is a great way to spend a leisurely day. It's a little hard to find, tucked away in a residential area. The long driveway is the first clue that the flowers and greenery are exceptionally lush and beautiful. Three of us went in late June and it was still cool enough to enjoy the outdoors there. (I think that later in the summer it could be too warm.) We felt like kids in a candy shop, oohing and aahing at all the glorious waterfalls and foliage. Photo ops abound and every location along the pathways makes a gorgeous backdrop.The estate is also quite stunning and it's great fun to peek in at the rooms upstairs. It's like stepping back in time to a kinder, gentler era. Lunch on the veranda was excellent and fairly priced. The atmosphere is one of elegance and old world charm. This would be an excellent choice for an anniversary celebration or wedding. We loved it just as a day to refresh our spirits.
