millerton lake

Had a great time kayaking and mountain biking at Millerton lake recreation area. Campground was great, hot showers, fire pits, raccoons for viewing enjoyment. A great place to get away from it all.

Millerton lake was surely a life saver in May 2013. We were living in a hotel in Fresno and dying of the heat! We went for a picnic to Millerton Lake and for swimming, the water was really cold and boy did it hit the spot!Millerton was uncrouded and had plenty of facilities. No amenities so you have to bring your own ice, and supplies.

Had a great time on the Lake! We rented a ski boat and tube from the boat rental. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. We spent 4 hours on the beautiful lake. We had the whole lake to ourselves and the water was clear and a perfect temperature! It was a great time!

Entrance is $17 per car/boat. It is important to arrive before 11 am in the summer months because it gets very packed after that and the maneuver to put your boat in the lake can take much longer.There are floating restrooms on the lake, straight ahead and slightly on the left.
