Los Olivos is cute town, with probably more wine tasting rooms than residents. Thus in order to avoid getting drunk you can only go to a few. Local friends who are wine connoisseurs said that Carina Cellars was the best tasting room with the best wine and most locals, and it is true. The wine is complex, flavorful and delightful. Each glass was unique and memorable and they each have delightful write-up. The tasting was poured by the owner David, a true a southern gentleman whose enthusiasm for his wine is infectious. Carina Cellars is a local secret but deserves a much larger audience.
