Went here for a sunset ride for our anniversary. Absolutely amazing. Linda was a great guide. My horse Bright was a good listener. :)Definitely will visit again for the 2 hr tour, although our guide took us for nice long hour ride.

Enjoy great views of the Ojai Valley on Horseback. Excellent horses, guides and trails. Close to down town, only 10 min. Family fun too! Other animals to see and pet.

These ladies got it together. We did a very relaxing and scenic ride with our children. There is a small, but cute petting zoo. The horses are gentle. The staff is friendly and informative. I would put it on the must-do list of things to do in Ojai.

My 5 year old twin girls loved this place and didn't want to leave, we ended up doing pony rides one day and trail rides two other days. Sue (the owner) and Linda make you feel really comfortable and in great hands. Within a couple of minutes they had the girls using the reins to direct the ponies. I had been told by our hotel that kids need to be 8 to do a trail ride, but Sue and Linda said if the girls wanted to do it, they could either have someone walk alongside the girls and lead the horses, or the girls could ride behind one of the guides with a lead rope to make sure the horse wouldn't run off. We opted for the lead rope and the girls loved it. The ranch also has lots of baby animals and it is very fun for the kids to hold them. There is a camp over the summer that we will definitely do next time!

My kids enjoyed it but the only negative thing was the horses would eat the grass along the way & then get sidetracked off the trail. At least it ended with pictures of my kids holding bunnies since it was during Easter.

Thank you Ojai Valley Trail Riding Company!! It felt like we were with family! It was probably the highlight of our trip, cant wait to go back for the two hour ride next time! The ride was beautiful, the horses were great:) and the staff was very warm and welcoming. We had a great time in Ojai!

We spent a weekend in Ojai, and took our twin 5 year old girls horseback riding. The scenery was spectacular. The staff were wonderful and incredibly patient with our girls. Linda in particular, was a gem. I was pleasantly surprised that they let my girls ride on full grown horses (not on a trail, but around the ranch and in the corral). They also have trail riding for kids over 7. The ranch also has many kid friendly animals: pigs, chickens and goats. We loved it so much we came back again the next day!

This was my first experience with horseback riding and there are quite a few places to choose from in Ojai. I booked my ride last minute and they were able to accommodate us (score!). Had a wonderful time on a 1 hr ride (though of course I get the hungry horse that wanted to stop and eat every 5 feet), the scenary was gorgeous and our trail guide Linda was very nice. Pricing-wise this place had one of the best prices and holds horse camp for kids during the summer too where they teach kids how to ride, care for a horse, see a vet care for a horse and paint a white horse.

A few of my friends and I went horseback riding for my birthday at Ojai Valley Trail Riding Company. It was one of the best rides that I have been on. There was pleanty of beautiul horses to choose from, we had an amazing ride through the river bottom and up through the mountains. Our guide was very knowledgable. I highly recommend OJAI VALLEY TRAIL RIDING COMPANY to those who would like to have a great time on horseback. They also have a petting zoo!!

Tons of horses!! We called for a same day reservation and they were able to accommodate us one hour in advance. They have many guides and horses available and offer many options. Loved it!!
