Very pretty and well maintained trails around the valley. Everyone should make a donation to the OVLC so that they can keep up all the great rail work they have been doing.

A great place for a beautiful stroll... The natural landscape and surrounding views are truly stunning. We really enjoyed the flora a lot. It can get very hot, so we recommend sunscreen, hats and plenty of water!

not particularly attractive or interesting topography but many and varied bird species make up for that.

We took a trail on conservancy land that afforded panoramic views of the town and valley. It was listed as 1.5 miles, and was an easy trail. Some of our group walked from the Emerald Iguana Inn to the trailhead, and it was only a 15-20 minute walk to get to it. The trail is not a loop, and rather than walk back the 1.5 miles we simply parked a car at the trail end.

We were passing through this area looking for some hiking when we stumbled upon this organization. They were very accommodating. Told us about the area, gave us some maps and showed us how to find the trails. We took the Valley View Trail, a moderate walk in the hills with spectacular views. We were passing through Ojai just to see the area on our way south from Santa Barbara. Looking for some hiking in the area. Stumbled upon the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy office. The people were extremely helpful. They told us about their land holdings, the trails - made suggestions for places to visit and gave us some maps. We went on the Valley View trail that was a moderate trail that overlooked the entire valley. Quite nice. Looks like they have other great places to explore along the Ventura River Preserve and Ojai Meadow Preserve. Highly recommended and they are clearly doing a great service for the area. We will be back!
