silver strand beach

This beach is always colder than I like but it is mostly empty when we go. The waves can be very surf able as well. Night star gazing and sunset viewing are excellent.

There are a lot of Oxnards. There is gritty Oxnard, boring suburban Oxnard, very Latin Oxnard, etc. Then there's laid-back beach Oxnard, found here. It's my favorite Oxnard.

Popular local's spot and works well with a North Swell. Fun family spot and there are spot's to eat nearby.

Great view of the Channel Islands, pelicans, sunset superb so this is my favorite seaside area for photography.

You can find free parking here and enjoy this wonderful sandy beach in Oxnard. It is in a section of private homes and not well know except to locals. This is also a good surfing beach. Dogs are allowed on a leash but hardly anyone has them on one. Check it out!!!

Very wide white sand beach. Great view of the Channel Islands ( oil platforms ;-( ) and Mountains. Due to offshore oil ( that seeps up from the bottom ) wear sandals and/or check the bottom of your feet before re entering the house.

Friendly neighbor, fantastic view of the ocean. It is nice to walk out your door and have your feet in the sand.

The best beach around for the family. A nice sandy beach, great for the kids to swim. Very well monitored by life guards, overall very family friendly.

I avoid this place on weekends, due to limited parking.but for surfing, year around, except for south swells, this beach has 3 different breaks. i prefer the ship, due to more peak type waves. open beach area. one restroom building close to ship, and portables, i believe out by the jetti. i am a big fan of Pepe;s mexican food! the kidde beach is great for kids!

The islands and sunset were amazing. The beach was soft without rocks. My kids had a blast. This town is a hidden gem, a private beach town. Loved it!

Clean beach and great waves. They are building a new life guard tower and adding more parking. The parking was on the street for the moment and difficult for parking.

Great beach to surf, swim and have family time. Wonderful location lots of sand to spread out and play beach games with family or friends.

Parking is limited, so come early. Friendly area, nice walkways. Old beach hippies hang out here. Safe.

Beautiful beach with calm waters and seems endless. Parking is free and usually available, although week days are easier. I visited this beach before and it is still awesome. Great safe place for kids.

Beautiful, clean sand and water. Wonderful picnic area with wind breaks. Spacious parking. Very accessible.
