Milagro farm had wonderful wine and amazing service! We visited a few vineyards in the area and this was by far my favorite experience, and best service revived! The staff was personal and quick to ensure you the best service possible. I would recommend this winery to anyone! Enjoy!! :)

Our visit to Milagro was our first venture on this trip to a local winery. The wines were good, but seemed expensive. We shared a tasting which we thought was expensive at $12. It did include a glass. Our host was very attentive to our questions and we never felt rushed.

Visited Milagro Farms December 27, 2014. The weather was too cold for outside, but Milagro has a nice indoor tasting room with plenty of counter space and several seating areas with tables and chairs and comfy sofas. There is outside seating on a patio where I'm sure you could bring and enjoy a picnic on a nicer day. They have a nice selection of both whites and reds (more reds) and some sweeter after dinner "port" style. The guys behind the counter are friendly and laid back and the tasting room is a relaxing place to be. There is plenty of parking and this stop is worth the trek. All of their wines were good. Purchase 2 and one tasting fee (of only $10) was free. You will drive on a well paved dirt road almost a mile to get there. I wouldn't recommend if it has been raining as your car will be a mess - but that isn't typically a problem for us here.It is located north of many Ramona wineries, but great to hit as a stop on the way to or from Julian (just behind the Camel Farm that everyone knows). There is a nice sign on the road, so you shouldnt miss it. We did a route from San Diego that hit La Finquita, Turtle Rock Ridge, Vineyard Grant James and Milagro Farms, ending in Julian for an overnight stay. It was a great Saturday afternoon. This was a gamble as we usually go to Temecula -but this was our first time to Ramona vineyards and we will definitely be back and will return to Milagro Farms.

I visited this winery over the weekend along with two others in the Ramona valley. Milagro Farm Winery was a breath of fresh air, similar to many winery's I've visited across the country. The staff was friendly and very helpful with questions about the various wines. There is a small cost for the tasting, but you get to try six various wines. The property is well maintained and comfortable. This is a must visit on your wine tour in the Ramona area.

What a great find! I had no idea that there were wineries in Ramona - Beautiful location/setting and views- we went for a wine tasting and Patrick was our host - he was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions - we really enjoyed our experience - their reds are amazing, came home with a bottle of their Sangiovese and their olive oil - will sign up for their wine club-will definitely be back again soon! A must try while wine tasting in Ramona!

We have been members here for a year, and it is hands down the classiest and most well run winery in the area. It's such a beautiful location and the owners go out of the way to make the winery a place where people can gather. Picnic tables are available for folks who want to bring some food, and there is a nice outdoor patio as well. Milagro farms is a "10 out of 10".

Visited San Diego County's Milagro Farm Vinyards & Winery for their annual release party. We tasted a variety of excellent white and red wines, but the ones that I brought home with me were the 2010 Estate Grown Chardonnay, the 2008 Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon, and the 2010 Aleatico. I was really impressed with the Burgundian-style (non-oaked) chardonnay that Jim Hart, the winemaker, is developing from his young vineyards. It was clean, crisp, and refreshing and would pair extremely well with white fish, shellfish, pork loin, or a creamy epoisses or brie. The cabernet sauvignon was a full-bodied, well structured red with balanced aromas and soft tannins that is definitely drinkable now or a candidate for modest cellaring for a year or two. Milagro's port-style Aleatico is perfect for just sipping at the end of a delicious meal or savoring with your favorite dessert, especially flan, tiramisu, or dark chocolate.

The trip to the Milagro winery takes you through some of the most beautiful parts of east San Diego county. Take your time and bring a picnic lunch. The winery has some of the most spectacular picnic tables up a small path from the tasting room. The wines are VERY good and VERY reasonable. Tastings are at your choice and the staff is very knowledgeable and extremely accomodating. This is a treat and quite a bit of fun. We spent almost 2 hours here, picnicing, eating, tasting and just relaxing. The drive back home along the Old Julian Highway is also a spectacular ride through rural San Diego county. Don't miss this winery.

We went for a fundraiser which paired fine cuisine with wines to complement one to the other and found that the wines stand on their own, both whites and reds. Be sure to try the port.

Although not a hotel, the plae is great the staff is freindly and what can you say the wines are EXCELENT!Well worth the drive, such beutiful country side, green pastures for cattle and horses all around, the old oak trees on the drive up, and we even saw a coyote roming around. Will try to go again and again.Get the tasting for $12 then buy a bottle to take home of your favorite, don't buy wine by the glass.
