the wine tailor

My first experience here was so great, I went in to purchase a gift for a coworker. The girl that helped me was so friendly and provided exceptional service, I definitely planned to come back and told everyone at work about this place. However, when a friend and I went back on a Sunday afternoon, it was a completely different story. We started with a frozen wine drink each, then moved on to the wine tasting 5 for $5. We were asked if we were members and then encouraged to just purchase a glass of wine instead of the tasting but opted for the tasting since this was our first taste of their wine. There were only two other people in there when we started but it quickly became busy. After our 2nd taste of 5 we were completely ignored. There were two people working at first and then suddenly when it got busy there was only one working and the other sitting at a table drinking with people. We watched as every other couple was provided with wine, sometimes two or three times they were served and still no service. We just smiled and waited, sure she would get to us, but we were wrong. Finally we turned in our remaining two tasting chips, paid our bill and left. What a huge disappointment!! I do not plan to return.

Took my wife here for the first stop on our Valentine's Day, enjoyed a bottle of wine and cigar on the patio and took two bottles to-go. Great selection, and tasting menus changes often. Speciality cheeses and crackers were also available for pairings. Beautiful tasting room, and a great wine making room also. Cheers!
