Redlands Bowl features outdoor summer concerts and family fun. History buffs will love The Lincoln Shrine next door. The only one of it's kind on the west coast. All kinds of Civil War displays and a fine tribute to one of the great Presidents. Friendly, small town atmosphere as well.
It's so fun to pack a picnic dinner and blanket/beach chairs and enjoy free live entertainment .. Music, plays or dance company's it's awesome!
I enjoy the outdoor seating during the summer, under the stars. The productions are always professional and top notch. There is no charge, but donations are gladly accepted. I try not to miss a single show.
The Redlands Bowl has fantastic performances all summer. It is an outdoor theater with real nice surrounds. The music is wonderful.
The summer season is heralded by the performances offered FREE at this beautiful outside venue. Grab your picnic dinner and lawn chairs to enjoy the lawn then recline back and enjoy good to great performances.. all for a good will offering. An offering which makes this community special.
The Redlands Bowl is a rare gem! Amazing outdoor summer concerts for FREE! There is nothing more enjoyable then going to the Bowl and picnicking with friends and then watching a top notch performance under the stars on a beautiful summer night.
Redlands is Fabulous and the Bowl is an Extra Plus to Redlands. Never disappointed in any shows. They offer a variety of shows and the seating is really good.
Professionals 'volunteer' and every production is wonderful. It's a beautiful venue, whether up on the grass or in the seats.
Great free concerts all Summer long. Very professional. Makes you feel like you spent a lot of money on a night out. From Symphony to Showtoons and movie scores. A great experience in Redlands, CA.
The staff at the Redlands Bowl are professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you all for all your hard work in making our show great!
Great community concert venue offering free concerts. The Air Force band was tremendous and capped off the 4th of July events with their mix of patriotic and swing program on July 5The Bowl has rows of benches and it seems every location has good visibility. Grassy area also available to bring your own chairs and blankets. Pack a picnic. Snacks and ice cream are sold. Good restrooms too.
We took in the opening show for this summer at the Bowl, and this promises to be a great season. Joining the symphony from San Bernardino and their conductor Frank Fetta were two soloists singing music from Frank Lloyd Weber. Go online and check out their schedule this season.Their website is www.redlandsbowl.orgIf you have not attended this venue in the past, be aware that parking is on the street or lots within a half mile or so, and admission is free! You may want to pack a picnic meal and arrive a couple of hours early with your party. There are bench seats that you might want a pillow to soften, or grass to the sides and rear if you bring your own chairs. If you bring an umbrella for shade, it will need to be lowered by showtime, which should not be a problem. They do pass buckets for donations, so please come prepared for this. Performances are good, and the program deserves your support if you choose to attend.Programs are usually for all ages, though you should decide if your youngsters are able to make it through programs lasting as long as two + hours.
I grew up in Redlands and no longer live here. Sure do miss the Redlands Bowl and the Smiley Library.
I always love to come for the many free shows throughout the year. Great place for families, a picnic, or just to take it all in. We usually bring a blanket and lawn chairs because the kids can't sit still for too long.
A great place to spend a summers evening....what a wonderful idea that has continued for so many years...bringing high quality music and dance to the community. Very Highly recommended to citizens of Redlands AND surrounding communities!
