Didn't even know that drive in movies still existed, so we were delighted to find this one. It's easy to find in Riverside and well signposted. Take your own food and drink. For the full experience also take cushions and park facing away from the screen and sit on your tailgate. Good value at less than ten bucks per person for two films. Great picture quality and sound via your car radio. Arrive half an her early and the ground is undulating (deliberately) so park on the upslope for the best view. A great experience.

This is a greeeat old style theatre with several screens. We always bring snacks, pizza and popcorn. The posted signs say no chairs but we like to put an airbed in a pick up and watch with pillows under the stars. Its NEVER crowded so you always get the best seat in the house!

Used to love those drive-in theatres growing up and this is the perfect spot to go back to the old days. Very affordable price as well. Loved the food - authentic Mexican food.

This is the original type of drive in. Nothing fancy. No upgrades, just flat areas to park or sit outside the car

Went with my husband to watch line survivor. First time at a drive-in. Didn't know what to expect. Great value. Only $8 per adult and if you bring children they're only $1! Didn't have to get dressed up. Brought our own snacks and relaxed as we watched movie. They do have a concession stand and restrooms available. Great experience! Can't wait to oh back.

This place is really good to go with your loved ones, for couples is nice cuz you get to just enjoy a movie while chilling, if its cols weather you can get cozy lol. Is also great for families with young kids, sometimes children dont do to well at the theaters specially if they are little, so here they can totally enjoy a movie from the comfy of their car. Price is good only $7 per person. Kids i think is less, They also also have the best nachos and horchata as well as other goodies to munch... love it,!

Not as nice as the Van Buren Drive Inn, but still fun! Drive Inns are a dying breed, I highly recommend you take in a movie at a Drive Inn before they are all gone!

We took all four kids to see a movie for under $20 bucks, picked up snacks ahead of time and arrived early enough to get a prime spot in the center by the snack bar. We had no problems with the sound, although we lost the picture midway through, it was fixed within minutes and backtracked so we didn't miss anything. Since we have little ones we only stayed for the first movie. The snack bar was clean, a little pricey but they give large portions. Went on a Sunday night, I hear Fridays and Saturdays are busy. Definitely going back.

As a very local resident of 60 years, I was very sorry to see the weekday and weekend swap meet crowd come into the neighborhood. The local streets are frequently congested with entire families, kids in tow, dashing across the street through traffic, tamale carts here and there, and lines of vehicles waiting in lines blocks long to push whatever wares they possess. I guess the drive-in survives on this because the 2nd rate movies shown there, the rundown snack-bar, the beer bottles left behind, and bad sound system really doesn't get it. It was a nice family place at one time I enjoyed as a youngster, but even the fresh coat of paint doesn't hide the social issues it has brought to our neighborhood.

use for swap meet on weekends nothing much else, the food is snack bar faire. enuf said. As for the movies well lets us just say that if you people to hang with it all good but if you want to see a movie then just skip this one.

If you can handle people being idiots and forgetting to turn off their lights or showing up late or smoking next to you then you'll love it. Really it's pretty fun. Pack your snackers and enjoy not taking out a loan to see a new movie.

Had a terrible experience at the Rubidoux Drive-In this evening. The second showing had terrible garbled sound and the picture was almost impossible to see during many parts due to poor contrast. Made a polite request to one of the employees to have the projectionist check on it, and was told that that they'll "see what they can do." 20 minutes later into the movie, and nothing had changed. The woman in the car next to us even bothered to knock on our window and asking if we had issues with the sound and visibility too. We gave up trying to watch the film, thinking we could simply request to have our money back. I inquired with one of guys at the gate who said there is nothing they could do and there were no cash refunds, but admitted they had multiple complaints. I asked to see a manager, and was referred to some twenty-something guy in the booth at the main gate, who basically told me to take a hike and wasn't apologetic even after admitting they had other complaints. Sufficed to say, that will be the last time I will give the place my money. It's too bad, because my girlfriend and I really enjoy the Drive-in experience and have had no major issues before. Management there obviously just doesn't give a ish, as anyone who has seen their restrooms can attest. Take your hard-earned money elsewhere.

Inexpensive for a night out for the family. One of the last drive-in theatres in So. Cal. Even the snack bar is very reasonable, especially compared to the area walk in theatres.
