Attended this small theater production of a comedic murder mystery and found it to by well produced and well acted. Just a jewel of a small theater. I would recommend going, I think you will be entertained and find it an evening well spent.
For the price this is a nice little theater with several movies showing. Staff is courteous and try to be as efficient as possible at the snack bar. Theaters seem to be well maintained.
I recently attended one of the 'Backstage Productions' at the Santa Paula Theater Center. It consisted of ten one-act plays running about ten minutes or so each. The writing was outstanding and some of the actors had credentials which included performances on National TV. No need to go to L.A., fight traffic, pay an outrageous amount to park your car and even more for theater tickets because you will be thoroughly entertained at the Santa Paula Theater Center.
We have had season tickets for over 6 years and have never been disappointed in a performance. The best kept secret in West Ventura County.
We live in Santa Paula and every single one of the plays we have seen (and we have seen several) are all excellent! The stories, the actors and the fact every seat in the place is outstanding, you can't go wrong!
For a small theatre in a small town, the Santa Paula Theatre Center offers wonderful concerts and intriguing plays of high caliber.
Community theatre at its finest awaits you. We purchased the Flex tickets so we can go whenever we like, or join our pals for a night of theatre and discussions about the play. Thank you for not side stepping difficult social issues of the day, or at least the 1940's. These plays echo our experiences in our little town. Suggest, more music and variety.
The small theater is in a historic building next to a pocket park. The quality of the acting, costumes and sets is very good. There are no bad seats in the theater. The choices of productions are unique and very enjoyable. Don't miss this jewel hidden in a sleepy neighborhood of Santa Paula.
