sky valley golf club

I stayed in Highlands NC for 1 week 7/22/2013 and played the three public courses close by including High Hampton and Sapphire National. Sky Valley was the best of the three by far. Despite excessive rain, Sky Valley was in very good shape very good greens, very nice well maintained T's, fairways and bunkers. I would rate this 4.5 out of five. I played twice and I wish I didn't bother with the other two as Sky Valley was the best by far. High Hampton is a short almost executive and playing from the back T's was narrow, greens very very slow perhaps a 4? Sapphire national is beat up the T's were beat up, fairways beat up, greens were terrible. If you can only play one course, play Sky Valley, and it's cheaper to boot!
