Only open sundays. Kids where not happy. The walking trail and park are great. Good family park. would go again.
a great peaceful time walking through the garden with my girlfriend, very relaxing way to take a load of stress off
Beautiful native plants that are drought resistant. Helpful staff that explains what to expect from each plant. Beautiful surrounding views of the Canejo Valley.
This is the flip side to Gardens of the World. Do both to round out the experience! It's also great you can take your dog.
The Conejo Valley Botanic Garden is an amazing hidden gem! The Children's Adventure Garden is one-of-a-kind. Heartfelt thanks to the remarkable volunteers. Educational, beautiful, charming. Adjacent to an incredible park that is picnic-worthy!
Not the typical Botanic Garden. Mostly native wild hillside plantings typical to our hillsides.Very nice trains leading to a hilltop with outstanding views of the Conejo Valley. Pet friendly.Located next to a neighborhood park, otherwise only insiders would know it is there.A little much for those not used to walking hills, but plenty of rest areas.A very pleasant experience.
This review is for the whole park and not just the botanic garden. It's a beautiful park and the palyground is awesome: they even have an area called Wonderland where children can do pretend games using the toys that are already there (cups, tea sets, sandy toys and so on); all the family had fun with the free electronic games. The botanical garden is average but lots, lots of rabbits (we were there around 5.30pm). If you are in the area I definitely suggest to check this park out.
Many unusual trees and native plants. Hot in the summer. Picnic tables. No water or rest rooms. An hour hike up a steep road.
The Botanic Garden that is hidden away the Conejo Community Park is a bit of a walk from the parking area. Make sure that U are wearing comfortable shoes, it can get a bit rugged. Otherwise, it's a nice way to spend the day both at the Garden and the park. There's no charge for the admission so U can spend your money on food for a nice picnic. Of course it has a Native Plant area, as well as a Butterfly, Herb, Desert, Tranquility, Rare Fruit and a Trail of Trees (72 varieties!). any outdoor enthusiasts would really appreciate this Garden.
