specialized helicopters

There is a person who works here that is one of the most sweetest, kindest people you could ever meet. I see by other posts that she has touched other people's lives like she did ours. She made this trip possiple for my husband who really needs it. She went out of her way to make it happen for us. I cannot believe how inexpensive and amazing it will be. I never imagined that I would be able to afford a present like this! My husband is going to take lessons and then fly a helicopter with a co pilot on his 60th birthday this year on November 19th. I cannot wait to see his face when he finds out this surprise. If it wasn't for Jessica this would not be happening. This has been a dream of my husband's for as long as I can remember. I'm sure this will be the best present he has ever had. I will write another amazing review after the trip. Thank you Jessica for being the person you are and making this trip possible for my husband. See you on the 19th!=-)

My Granddaughter and I had a wonderful 1 hour tour of the Monterey Bay. I will be doing it again soon with my son.

My husband and I took the Santa Cruz tour. I'll start off with customer service. I was corresponding back and forth with Jessica through email and she was beyond wonderful!! When I called to make the reservation again she was so helpful and answered all my questions. When I got there sadly she wasn't in however the guys there were awesome!! They welcomed us in and made us feel like old pros at it when it was our first time. The ride was wonderful. Steve our pilot made it very enjoyable and laughed along with our sarcastic humor my husband and I have. He pointed out great spots of interest and showed us different things. Going over the ocean was truly an experience of a lifetime and going over the boardwalk was beyond amazing. I have never had that kind of perspective of land before until now and I know for sure we will be doing this again hopefully. I want to say a big thank you to specialized helicopters for making our vacation an amazing experience and thank you all for your great customer service!!!

I bought an intro airplane flying lesson for my fiance as a stocking stuffer for Christmas - such a bargain! And he LOVED it. I waited in the lobby and talked to the very friendly instructors that were there while he flew the first time. They were all so helpful and knowledgeable. He had so much fun, and said the instructor was great. So, we got another full hour-long flying lesson and I went with him. Incredible views, super smooth flight, felt safe the whole way. Never experienced the Peninsula like this before. We saw a humpback whale and a couple pods of dolphins! Evan was the instructor both times and he was fantastic. Such a great experience.

Did a two-person flight lesson in the R44, 30min each. What an amazing experience! Worth very penny. Nick was our flight instructor and he was great!

I let my wife talk me into this Helicopter ride, I must say it was the funnest thing weve done with our clothes on, Ever! Thanks Nick the first time was so good we did it again the next day!!!

This was so much fun! If you are even in the slightest curious about helicopters, you need to do this. My boyfriend and I did the ten minute tour around the Bay, it was too short, I wish we could have done the longer tours. Our pilot was so friendly and funny, he gave us a lot of Wastonville history and ocean info. It was an all around wonderful trip, do experience it!

Great trip overlooking Monterey Bay. A must do. Only downfall was that it was only for about 45 minutes.

My father has wanted to see whales for years but never went on a whale watch tour by boat. He's now too unsteady for a boat so we took him by helicopter over Monterey Bay. The staff at Specialized Helicopter were very helpful in getting him in and out of the helicopter and it was comfortable for him and for the rest of us. It was a grand day and we were able to see several pods of dolphins (too high up to identify type) and a couple of gray whales. The day was truly beautiful and we had gorgeous views of the Monterey Bay area and the coast. While seeing whales from the air isn't the best way to go as they are so far away, it worked for the circumstances. The trip itself was breathtaking.

If you can make this work finanically, it is worth every penny. What an incredible experience. Paul, our pilot was great. I will recommend this tour for any of my friends/family visiting the area.

We have been on many helicopter rides throughout the USA. I am taking the time to review Specialized Helicopters in Watsonville, CA because Pilot Ryan and staff went above and beyond in customer satisfaction. Flying above the Santa Cruz Boardwalk , watching the surfers (Pilot Ryan told us Santa Cruz has LOTS of shark attacks), seeing spectacular ocean views,incredible homes and scenary that can only be seen from the air are just a few reasons to fly with Specialized Helicopters.Pilot Ryan's knowledge of the California Coast was fantastic.(When my youngest son,age 10, wanted to know "What would happen mid-air if Pilot Ryan turned off the helicopter?"... He showed him... after my OK.) FYI: I am not a "fun" person, but even I had fun!!!

I have never flown a helicopter before and my instructor Ivanna was super friendly and easy going. She even offered me pizza while giving me basic helicopter fundamental during ground school. Highly recommended!!!
