woodside library & native plant garden

I like the Woodside Library and Native Plant Garden. Our garden club works there frequently and helps with the weeding, cutting back of limbs that are too large etc. We always have a good time and the help at the garden is very friendly.

The Woodside Library is a lovely little library, quiet and calm (except for the hours from about 2:30 -4:00, when local children from the elementary school up the street are using the library). If you are a native plant enthusiast, the Native Plant Garden, designed and maintained by the Woodside-Atherton Garden Club, is worth a visit. The garden is attractive and well-signed, so you can have help with plant identification without a docent present. The parking lot is small, and the Toddler Storytime (usually 11 on Wednesdays) is delightful, but the parking lot fills.
