Nice views, hiking trails. In winter and Spring, go prepared to encounter snow, ice. Use microspikes, hiking poles

Great 10 minute rotating cable car ride with wonderful views. For oldies it is a long walk back up the hill from the hikes along concrete path

Not to be missed - from almost sea level in Palm Springs to the peak of San Jacinto 8,500 ft. The mountain station at the top feeds down into an area where you can hike and camp. Looking across the area you can see the San Jacinto Peak at 10,800 ft. AWESOME experience!

There was snow on the mountain and you were free to roam and enjoy, but the walkway down was steep and long and it was very arduous coming back up! It took me about 40 minutes to walk back up with several stops to catch my breath and rest!

Nature is all about you, a large forest area, babbling waters.......disliked the steep climb coming out

Spent time at the pool in the morning and hiked in snow in the afternoon ! Amazing views & totally different than the desert down below.

This was an amazing experience 81 degrees at the hotel, 40 degrees lower at the top with 3 feet of snow, views are spectacular from every angle, Restaurant is pricey so bring your own lunch & Dress warm otherwise you will miss the whole experience .

I loved running the Museum/Lykken trail, that starts behind the museum and ends up at Ramon St. It's rough and a steep climb, easy to get off trail (follow the white paint dots). Not for everyone! But great view over the city. Trail in good shape. Took me 1 hr 19 minutes from the hotel

Sitting down the bottom looking up you'd think your in Switzerland. This mountain is high up! Hot down on the plains and barren landscape THEN when you get to the top your world changes. The temp drops around 10oC, it's green and a flourishing tree lined national park and abundance of wild life-mainly cheeky squirrels!

The tram was fun. The hikes were medium to difficult. Some people came just to view. There was snow and you can look on desert. The rangers were great. There were 5 lookouts on the medium trail number 3 was the best. The stores were great to look through. A real day trip.

Poor food and expensive so don't bother with it. Take your own or wait till you get down to the valley.

The tram to the top of the mountain should be taken early in the morning (starts at 8:00 am) to avoid the crowds; hiking the short trail gives great views of the city and its vicinity.

Glass walled tram ($24 per person) with slowly rotating floor takes you up mountain to the 10,000' summit in ten minutes for heart stopping view. Observation area is located there as well as 14,000 acre wilderness area for day trip hiking or overnight camping

The tram ride was an experience in itself. The views from the top of the mountain are very nice. You can see for miles. The temperature at the top was a refreshing 53, thirty degrees cooler than below. It was a great experience.
