arata pumkin farm

Arata Pumpkin Farm is a fun place to go in October to buy one's Halloween pumpkin. We were there today on a gorgeous warm sunny day. Since it was mid week, it was a bit quieter than the week-ends are.There are a variety of fun things to do here besides look for and purchase a pumpkin. There is a fun corn maze. There is a bouncy house,haunted barn, hay rides, petty zoo, and more. They do charge for each attraction individually so it can add up if one does it all. They work hard to provide a good time to the public during October. Staff is pleasant.Parking is free. Arata Pumpkin Farm is south of Half Moon Bay.. I thought I had driven too far as its south of all the other places in Half Moon Bay. If one is driving south from Half Moon Bay, it is a left hand turn from highway 1 to Verde Road (of course, if one is driving north, its a right hand turn).

Half Moon Bay è conosciuta per le sue zucche e qui ogni anno ad ottobre si celebra il "Pumpkin Festival" dove viene assegnato il premio per la zucca più grande. Per nostra sfortuna siamo capitati una settimana prima del festival e non abbiamo potuto assistere al festival. Proseguendo verso la Highway 1 però, ci siamo imbattuti in questa fattoria piena di zucche. Nella fattoria c'è un labirinto di vallette di fieno dove i bambini possono divertirsi. Qui puoi trovare tutti i tipi di zucca, dalle dimensioni più piccole a quelle più grandi. E' stato davvero una bella esperienza essere capitati in questo posto, abbiamo potuto avere un assaggio del loro festival. Consiglio vivamente la visita in questo posto!
