Great place to sit and watch the world go by. The coffee importers is a very popular meeting place. Great free wifi there too.

Up to four miles of level walking with lots to see -- thousands of boats, sea birds, and paddleboarders. Usually a gentle breeze to beat the heat.

You can sit on the beach, climb on some rocks or rent a paddle board and cruise the harbor. Free parking if you go to the end of the road. Lots of boats to view, a breakwater keeps the main harbor smooth, but you can walk to the real beach to see the surf in all its glory. Don't miss this place if you are in the area.

good place to park and take a walk along the boardwalk. It has some nice places to eat and you can see the boats coming in and out of the harbor. Had a boat here for years and it is kind of a timeless place.

A nice place to stroll. Lots of shops and restaurants. Local fishing excursions leaving daily as well as whale watching. Something for everyone. We enjoy turks bar and grill. The food is very good with a view of the harbor. Would recommend this destination to anyone.

Narrow sidewalks, numerous dogwalkers, and a dearth of decent places to eat make the harbor rather boring. I have lived here since 1990 and nothing really has changed. The restaurants are boring and really not worth it. The most notable characteristic is that the harbor is not big enough for recreation and the lack of berths for bigger boats has compromised the ability to bring in the "big spenders" and thus it languishes.

We moved to Dana Piont six years ago. We chose to live where folks get to visit on weekends. We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful place, with a great City Administration that provides free summer movies and concerts in the park and lots of additional summer events. Dana Point truly is an untapped fantastic place to call home.

First time visit to Dana Point Harbour. Has the most stunning views of the island whilst sitting at the marina just watching the world go by. Very popular for dog walkers, but this did not bother me and was lovely to see. Easy parking also. All in all a lovely place to visit.

If you're hungry this is a great place to come! Large selection of restaurants, all in a beautiful setting of the harbor, easy parking, also a nice selection of small shops.

Great place to sit and take in the marina views while enjoying a cup of coffee or light snack. Shops are cute with some unique finds. Great place for locals and tourist alike!

nice place to walk along and enjoy the day and harbor. We went on a whale watching tour from here as well as ate in the area.

Great for sightseeing, people watching and shopping. The area around the pier has little shops for souvenirs, art and jewelry. A few restaurants and a coffee shop are also at the pier. Great when the sun is out, and that's all the time :-)
