While we did not do a stadium tour we did make a point to stop by the stadium and cross it off our list to visit all of the ballparks. They were doing construction on the backside so we were unable to walk fully around the stadium. Neat to visit. I'm sure a tour would be cool!
Finally, after nearly 15 years of wanting to, I got to visit Angels stadium for the AMA Supercross.Great Stadium, loved every minute. Was very much a dream come true. Sat at Club level block 312, could not have asked for a better view. See you in two years time. I'll definitely be back.
I really like Angel Stadium. The walkways are large and you can access the whole stadium regardless of what entrance you come in from. Good selection of food/drink, and the seats are decent. Definitely in the top half of MLB stadiums I've been to.
Walked from Ayres Hotel Anaheim. Staff friendly and helpful with directions to seats. Stadium comfortable and great view of action
It's always nice seeing my Angels win. born and raised in anaheim and will always be an angel fanatic.
I just went to the Supercross. Parking was $20. I thought I had seen on the website it being $10, so I was caught off guard a bit. A little pricey. They do bag checks. You are allowed to bring in an unopened store bought liter size or smaller plastic bottle of water. You are also allowed to bring in food. They will make you throw away or take back to your car anything other than water or if it has been opened. There is a good amount of bathrooms. The bathroom by my section only had one soap dispenser working. Did not see a feminine product dispenser, so make sure to bring something with you just in case for " that time of the month " if you might need it. Beer, hard alcoholic beverage and wine stands all over. Food too. They do have a place that has vegan options. It's called Melissa's fresh for you. I did not get food from there though. I was told when I called. I ate beforehand. I did purchase some snacks and drinks from one of the places there. I got a little cheese pizza, 6 small slices, a pretzel, cheese sauce, cracker jack a large soda ( pepsi products ) and 2 large cherry icees. $40 total. No refills on soda. They have Panda Express there, hot dogs, burgers, nachos, etc. Pizza is $10.50, icee $5.50, large soda $6.50, pretzel $5.50, cheese sauce $2.00 and cracker jack $4.50. Beer I noticed ranged in price from $10 - $14. Seats and rows are a little narrow, but each row is spaced so you have plenty of room to see over the person in the row in front of you. Watch your step when going up or down the stairs to your seats. They have escalators along with sloped walk ways to take you to the upper levels. It is a bit narrow and crowded walking on the section where the food and drinks are. We waited until the long line of people had gone before we started to leave. Got to the parking lot and long lines to get out. We waited a little before getting in the car and going. We noticed the line in front of us and behind us wasn't really moving. So, we asked to cut straight through and went up a couple rows and got out pretty easily. All in all I had a nice time.
We had a great visit here! The stadium was clean and the fans were nice. The only weird thing was that they didn't have beer vendors bringing beer to you at your seats. You have to get up and get a beer from the concession stands.
I've been here a couple of times and it is such a pretty stadium. There's no need to roam around the stadium to find parking or where you sit. The stadium is so tidy compared to others. I love the waterfall they have in center outfield. They don't allow outside drinks here too! I didn't get food here so I couldn't tell you how it is.
As a hack baseballer from Australia I loved the park and it turned my daughters into angels fans, great admission prices, clean stadium, great views from any seat. Only disappointment was the size of the ball park dog lol I wanted a monster dog ha ha ha! And when the angel hit a home run and the fire works came out of the waterfall that was simply awesome.
Angel stadium is the BEST!!! Especially if you're an Angel's fan!!! LOL The stadium has comfortable seating and the coldest beer around. It has a gorgeous waterfall and is clean and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and courteous. It's an all around great time had by all every single time we go to a game. Enjoy!!!!
We're visiting all of the baseball stadiums and we were very disappointed here from the start. We drove from Las Vegas amd bought tickets on stub hub on our way there, we got to the gate knowing the other stadiums allow you to use your phone with stub hub app to be scanned to get you in the stadium. Come to find out not here, they made us got to the stub hub facility to get our tickets printed out and then come back to the stadium. We missed half the game by doing this. Very disappointed, the men at stub hub said it's a choice the stadium makes to not allow apps scanned to try and make more last minute ticket sales. Very disappointed.
Caught a game in August (A's & Angels.) I was very impressed with this park! Clean, thoughtful fans & nice selection of ball-park food. We sat in the upper deck first base side, which caught the sun something awful @ 5pm game time. I suggest sitting elsewhere during that time of day as the sun was very hot and made watching the game difficult. After sunset it was perfect!
I spent all of my teen years at Anaheim Stadium and moved away at a young adult. During the next 20 years I only visited the stadium once. Since then they have totally revamped the look of the stadium. I was disappointed to see the 'Big A' no longer inside the ball park, however, the many improvements that have been made are nice. I'm hoping to get back there this next year. I bought my tickets on vivid seats and got a good deal.
Going to my first Angels game was a great experience! We were out all day touring all of LA then topped it of with a fun night at the Angels game! We were staying at a hotel just 2 min away from the park so the Cab was only $5 and then to get into the stadium was only $6 per person! Perfect for a last minute idea! We had dinner at Jack & the box and it was a delicious burger!! Then the game started and it was alot of fun! Walking around the stadium was pretty neat too! Got to watch the game and check out all of the park! A must see if you are in the Anaheim area!
We are season seat holders and love this stadium and our home team. We never have any problems with people in the parking lot or inside the stadium which is a big reason we don't attend Dodger Stadium. Angels Rock
