This is a nice area for a stroll with terrific shopping. This shopping area is right next to Stanford University.

We went shopping at Macy's after dinner. There are a lot of shops in the mall to broase. The shopping center is going thru a remodel, but that does not interfere with all the shops. It is a very well maintained mall and it is always pleasant to broase around the shops.

Stanford is a very well maintained and safe shopping mall with great stores and restaurants. It's also a place where you could just grab a cup of coffee and people watch.

Nice job on putting together a great market place. Love the open air, the dogs walking around, the smiling faces, the friendly staff, went to look period, spent some coin. Great little shop for bearded men to visit - wonderful shave lotions, quality shaving gear and a salesman with a beard I wish I could grow! Wonderful mall! Parking is tight, but if you're patient you'll find someone leaving who saved your place for you!

Who needs to visit a shopping center while traveling? Unless you are in some exotic location, They tend to be very much the same. But if you are from asia, come on in. spend money. Recommend a pass.

Stanford shopping center is your usual shopping center. Good part is that it's very close to Palo Alto where I was staying but nothing out of the ordinary though. A collection of branded outlets and cafes

The Shopping Center has lots of cool shops (Macy's, urban outfittery, Gap, Nike, Apple, Abercrombie and many more). Especially worth for Europeans when they have sales.

It is always fun to go to the Mall....Especially Stanford. It always has flower arrangements that are over the top. It is a great place to both shop and get groceries....Best ever meat market, Schwabs, and fruit and vegetables. Stop by the olive oil and vinegar bar......You can't go wrong.

Lots of high end stores that draw a crowd worth people-watching. But also some essentials, including a terrific butcher in (Schaubs) and produce market (Sigona's). Try the Fred steak or the spicy mango Georgia peach bourbon chicken sausage. Grab veggies and bread and wine. Dinner. Done.

Visited on a Sunday morning before some of the stores were open. Many others waiting for opening time, several coffee places available, including Nordstroms. Quiet, pleasant location. Unlike many similar malls, not too many vacant stores. Worth a visit!

The best thing about it that it is not an indoor mall. Walking and shopping around while enjoying the warm weather of California is a great pleasure . You can spend the day shopping starting from high end shops to affordable shops like banana republic & gap. Macys , Neiman Marcus, blooming dales and Nordstrom are the highlights of the beautiful place. Don't miss segona for Fruits and vegetables so fesh & fun to shop.

The Stanford Mall has changed dramatically over the years from being a general purpose mall that had a drugstore and a grocery, toy stores and kid stores, to a very end mall that caters to the affluent. If you are looking for designer merchandise, you will be happy. If you have young kids or teens, you will find much less on offer that is practical and affordable. It is true that the mall is very pretty with spectacular flowers and gardens, but I rarely shop there because parking is always challenging and it doesn't have the sort of shops my teens enjoy (Forever 21, for example). Recently my daughter needed a dress for Homecoming and we drove to Hillsdale even though Stanford is in our back yard as there are more options for her. Of course, many people find the selection of shops appealing and the parking lots are usually crowded. I actually prefer shopping at Town and Country just a mile south on El Camino which has a great bookstore, a variety of restaurants, Francesca's (a cute shop for teens/young women) and an excellent stationery store.

this is definitely a wander in and out of nice stores kind of mall. dont expect to find a food court.

Great selection of stores laid out in a breezy outdoor space with comfy chairs along the way to sit and rest. Kids love the fountains. Don't miss the little market area for lunch or dinner.
