景点印象
Nice flat and short walk for the older crowd, pond features (not filled now), tennis courts, and a great playground for the kids. A very impressive veteran memorial highlights and an impressive service on Veterans Day. Lots of picnic areas.
A nice place to play catch, run around, and just enjoy a sunny day. Short walk from some restaurants and cafes makes it a great place to spend a sunday afternoon or lazy weekday.
When there is water in the ponds it's a fun place to watch the ducks but when the park is overrun with Canada geese it's less fun.
In a state rich with parks from amazing national parks to spectacular state parks, Cupertino Memorial Park is a nice park in a city. It does have ducks if they fill the ponds. It is a fun one for local kids to go. There is a small shopping center nearby with cafes and movies. As such, for locals in Cupertino it is a good place to go. We have visited. However, since there are much better community parks in both nearby Santa Clara and Fremont areas, we would not go out of our way to go to the Cupertino Memorial Park.It is however a good park for the residents there.Overall, however, my personal rating for it is average.
Great place to relax comfortable place spas recommend a good place for you
Whatever time of the year you go to this park, it has something to offer you. Couples love to stroll around. BBQers love it during summer. Kids like to play with the ducks/swans. A good place to spend any evening. During summer, there are lots of events from the local communities. Overall, a good place and well maintained.
Memorial Park is just that, a community park. It is probably mid-sized by most standards with a small lake and good for walking and meditation. There is a kids playground, amphitheater, and most important a memorial to the loss of the Navy Seals in Afghanistan; one of which was a Cupertino raised young man. A visit to the park is well worth stopping at this memorial and pondering Cupertino's lost soldiers. The bronze statue is very impressive. On many weekends a year there are community events like Cupertino Rotary's Fall Fest, the Cherry Blossom Festival, the Denali Festival, and many more. Don't miss Shakespeare in the Park or Hot August Nights Movies in the amphitheater.
Cupertino Memorial Park has two playgrounds, duck ponds, and plenty of green areas for kids to run around. If you are traveling with small children, this is a great place to stop and let them unwind. Also, just a nice place to spend some quiet adult time and get away from the urban madness.
