The care level has really dropped for poor Storyland..Playland was better maintained but short staffed. Most of the vegetation in Storyland was dead or near so. Some of the exhibits have had some repairs and upkeep but the overall impression was depressing.

I took my niece here a few summers back when she was about 6. She thought it was ok, but only because I summoned the strength to put on a theatrical performance of feined enjoyment, but inside, I cringed at the lack of anything worth our time. Storyland: old, broken-down, boring- Visitors must pay a separate fee to obtain a "key" in order to hear the stories/ character commentary at each station. Half the stations did nothing when she turned the key. Booo! The stations that DID work were a snoozefest.- She hardly knew half the characters because they were old-school "Classic" Disney; characters I knew well, but since she grew up during the New Disney phase (Mulan, Frog Prince, Hercules, etc), she didn't care for. Advice: Skip Storyland all together.Playland: outdated, priceyPlayland is a bit pricey for old, weary kiddie rides. I think you get a better deal with the small cache of rides at Blackbeard's. She was too big (old) for most of the rides there. She only rode the kiddie roller coaster a few times. My advice: Take the kiddies to cheaper Blackbeard's or to John's Incredible Pizza for only a few more bucks. All in all, a disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this part of the park to anyone with kids older than 4. In fact, the highlight of the day was helping some kids fish in the pond between Storyland and Playland. Hope that helps!

At one time this place was wonderful to visit. Now it is rundown. Half the attractions do not work. Even for small children it is not worth the money to go inside. The staff are very rude and unhelpful.

What they have for small children is fine..If they are under 5. Very old attraction. Always asking for monetary help from the public. Yet this isn't a free attraction when it comes right down to it.

it was bad none of the storys worked and the staff were very rude. i went ot tell them that all but one story worked and the lady told me that she did not know what to say because no one had come to her. i told the lady that i would take her around and she said no.

Located next the the Chaffee Zoo, this is a nice place for small kids to hang out and climb on things and climb into things! This is a place where exploration is a must! It's where all the nursery rhymes we've learned come to life!

Storyland has recently gone through a complete makeover! It is such a neat place that all those amazing childhood stories come to life. There are so many "Story Books", you may need a second trip just to make it all the way through. I highly suggest a visit. The vaule for the money is so worth it. Playland is connected to Storyland by a really cool train that everyone can ride and a lake where you can ride paddle boats. Playland has a lot of great rides for kids about 12 and under. It also has a splash pad for those extra hot days.I am so excited to share this place that I played in as a child with my children. A defininte must for a Fresno/Clovis resident or visitor.

A great for family. Use to take my grandkids all the time. There are rides and it is near the zoo. You could make a full day in Roeding Park.

Story land is horrible, it was Our first time going there. The water areas were not working they had little water and it was green and had dead fish in it. The houses and objects were not even taken care off. My son did not like it or enjoyed it. Playland was better, he did enjoy very much the carousel and other machines.

The atmosphere reminds me (and others) of the good 'ol days. Fun and nostalgic rides! There is food, rides, and water boats to take and experience what, is sometimes, a clean pond with ducks and geese.

My family and I have taked numerous trips there over the years. There is no place like it that I have ever seen. My son, nieces and nephews always loved it and to those grown Storyland remains a happy memory. It has numerous story book land statues to climb on and is a very fun time for all. It is enjoyable to bring a picnic lunch to the park beforehand and then spend time at Storyland which is a special treat for children.

A birthday party I'll never forget. It was February 22, 1965. My friend, Connie, was turning 8. I got invited to her birthday party in King Arthur's Castle. I felt like I was at the Governor's Ball after the Emmy Awards!

This is a great place to take the kids. The venue is maintained and paid for by the Rotary and it keeps getting better. We usually include a visit to the Chaffee Zoo next door. Every once in a while Story Land gets a little run down but it has recently been re-modeled and is great. The Zoo is good and getting better and better.

This is my idea of a all around any age park/zoolots to do for any age zoo costs a little more than I expected

Fun for the kids, they were amazed by all of the interactive stories. Don't forget your key. They also have special events there, birthday parties, Icecream safari night all great fun.
