军人荣誉博物馆

De Young,与Legion of Honor一起,并列为SF内的两大Fine Art博物馆.永久展品并没有很惊艳,但全年从世界各地借艺术品举办的各种特别展都相当不错.布展的设计大概是纯艺术的原因,相当保守稳健型.是日常用来发呆和平静心情的的艺术馆.若想猎奇找新鲜感,市内其余艺术馆都会有惊喜~

在山顶，视野开阔，建筑古典壮观，很多人以此为背景结婚。门票价格20刀不甚可爱。很多高端艺术展，现在这个法国宫廷珠宝展倒是世俗许多

在旧金山其他出色的游览中,我们在军人荣誉博物馆有一个很不好的经历。在金门大桥骑车游览后我们骑车到这儿。当我们到达时,发现这儿没有停自行车的地方,我老婆要去洗手间,所以我就在外面看着自行车。他们告诉我老婆(1)他们没有停放自行车的地方,而且(2)她不能使用洗手间,尽管在我们决定安排了我们的自行车之后我们打算付钱,都不行。这里给我的印象是它是个旧风俗盛行的地方。什么样的人不喜欢人们骑车环游美丽的城市呢?

军人荣誉博物馆在旧金山里士满区的林肯公园高尔夫球场附近,离游客活动区有点远。沿途路上并没有很明确的指示牌。但是这个博物馆很漂亮,而且离海很近,不只是大,里面的展览品也很多。我特别喜欢那些瓷器。如果你时间不多的话,就不要专门来这里玩了,但是如果你喜欢去那种没多少人知道的好地方的话,那你肯定会喜欢这个博物馆的。如果你想省钱的话,每个月的第一个星期二不收门票。

在一个老高尔夫球场中间……许多古董/古代遗迹,还有北美最好的罗丹收藏。关于朝鲜战争的纪念很不错:o)

军人荣誉博物馆美名远播,在全世界的旅游爱好者心中都享有很高的赞誉。博物馆陈列着世界著名绘画大师的作品,比如梵高、莫奈、伦勃朗、毕加索、荷马等等,而这些还只是其中的一部分而已。博物馆里的画作都是挂在墙上的,陈设的形式风格多变炫目,多元文化巧妙地融合为同一整体,以艺术家的创作作品拉开了整个展览的序幕。博物馆的建筑以其独到别致精美实用的设计和格局获得了广泛的好评。这里还有一家美味的餐馆和书店,可以去买点纪念品,喝杯咖啡或是品上一杯香茗,放松一下自我。更令人没想到的是,博物馆里还有歌剧演出,带上家人或是邀上好友,三三俩俩地来看博物馆看一场演出吧。旧金山博物馆有其自身散发出的浓浓的经典品位,或许在欧洲旅行时想要体验的就是这样一种风情吧。而旧金山这座城市也是世界上排名前十的最适合居住的城市之一。还有很多名人选择在近海区的锡克利夫置业安家生活。想必大家都知道,旧金山的硅谷是从事高科技研发专业人士的聚集之地,而尤以发达的电脑工业而著称。这里的人们以特异的性格和自由的精神来定位自己,正如旧金山这座城市一样。军人荣誉博物馆是一个经得起看了又看的博物馆。博物馆坐落于一座小山之上,近眺贝克海滩,可以俯瞰到不远处的太平洋。空气清新干净,沁人心脾。如果来了旧金山,顺道去日本茶园画廊看看吧,沿着迪杨美术馆那条街一直走就到了。茶园画廊可谓是物廉价美,你一定会满意而回的,花少少的钱,得到大大的享受,感受这座城市带给你的美丽,何乐而不为呢。人生至此,夫复何求?来旧金山吧,你要的,这里都有。

From an Egyptian sarcophagus to Catholic relics to Monet to rooms taken from 18th century parisian rooms lined in gold, you can stay here for hours and not realize it.It truly was my favorite part of the city. Free parking. Sights of the Golden Gate Bridge. Big park. Watch out for the golfers, you might get hit on the way up the road.

Wonderful small museum in a lovely spot, with a lot more charm than the deYoung Museum. Fantastic art.

A gorgeous museum showcasing numerous magnificent impressionist paintings and 19th century sculpture. The courtyard is a favorite for many ceremonies and/or receptions, weddings in particular as Rodin's Thinker is sitting in the center. It is the only place in the world where you can have the Thinker at your desired ceremony! The surrounding area provides great views of the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. A must-see for visitors and residents alike.

I love art museums, and this was one to impress me as well. Smaller than ones I'm a bit used to, but still has beautiful well known art. They had an Impressionism exhibit when I was there which is RIGHT up my alley ;) loved it! Beautiful museum, great BEAUTIFUL location with a great view of the city as they're atop a hill/mountain. Great café downstairs, but kind of snooty considering.

I love visiting the Legion of Honor, and go at least quarterly. The standing exhibits that rarely change include a few lovely Monet's, as well as the Rodin sculpture room. They have regular visiting exhibits from all over the world which are all ways informative as well as entertaining. They do a great job with staging. Their restaurant can get very busy but generally has enough seating for all- even outside. For visitors - it has beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the entrance to the SF Bay.

This museum is a dream come true for a francophile milliardaire living in San francisco. She had the French paviliion of the Seattle Universal Exposition (around 1900...) rebuilded identical. Rodin, Bouguereau, french furniture and paintings, etc... We passed a nice calm moment there.

There is nothing to dislike about this fabulous intimate museum in Lincoln Park. The collection is mostly European, with Dutch works being the star along with three El Grecos. Docent tours are available at specific times for the works within the building. The porcelain collection is outstanding also. Much of the time, special exhibitions comprise the bottom floor along with the Ancient Collection. Takes about 2 hours to view.One is treated to spectacular views of downtown and of the Golden Gate Bridge on nice days.
