SugarFina is an iconic sweet shop in Beverly Hills. They have really cute packaging and 24 gold topped marshmallows which my daughter had heard about and wanted to get which is why we went there. The candy looked delicious and pricey - you are paying to say you bought it at SugarFina. It was a fun destination trip to do with my daughter. She was so happy to go and get her marshmallows to bring to her friend :)

A giant overpriced sham! The people that have rated the place lowly have pretty much said it all. To add to their comments, the candies are labeled from the country of origin but there is no information about how the candy is made or if it is from a major factory or small batch type family-owned company. I am shocked in this day and age of conscientious high-end shoppers that people would buy into this nonsense. Really good markets like a Whole Foods or a good winery or brewery share lots of details about their products so consumers know what they are getting. I feel like Sugarfina is purposefully not sharing because they know they are a sham. $8 for a plastic box of gummy candy that has a handful or two of gummies? Unless it is made from gold, this is silly. As for the chocolate candies- I can understand that there is more nuance with chocolate and therefore prices can vary more, but $8 for 7-8 little piece of non-descript candy (no explanation where it is from, how it was made, etc.) seems like unfair practice. Sooner or later people will catch on here. If the chocolates truly are "curated a collection of the finest, highest-quality candies from around the world" why not give us more information about them? Sprinkles cupcake website tells you what their products are made of easily on their website. And other high end retailers selling special products. I cannot wait until this shop is closed for good. I feel like they are stealing from people. NOTE: If you want good chocolate in Glendale, you should visit Mignon: http://www.mignonchocolate.com/shop/. No I do not work there nor am I related to them, but they make the chocolate fresh during the week more than once, and locally and you can ask any question about their products and they will always answer you unlike the mysterious Sugarfina nonsense. And how does little plastic boxes make the candy look "special"? It is plastic! I am absolutely willing to pay good money for good chocolate but this is a silly waste. Finally, on my visit in today, the salesperson (a young, heavy set male with brown hair), acted like he was too good for the customers which was funny. He said to the woman at the register "is this it?" He was quite catty and not inviting. If you are selling plastic cubes of candy without labels regarding what company the candy is from, you should be really, really nice.
