这是我心目中目前为止Temecula(蒂梅丘拉)午餐做的最好的地方!!

Friends brought us here for a tasting two days ago. We had a fabulous tasting with Heidi and Jessica. Their knowledge of the wines, history and family were outstanding. We were in Temecula two years prior and our experiences were not great in Temecula's wine country. This was a real treat. I so enjoyed the Grenache. My husband liked the high end Cabernet and we both enjoyed the port. We purchased several bottles and will enjoy them when we are back home. We will come back when we are in the area again!

We were part of a large group from San Diego that spent a day touring some of the wineries around Temecula. Leoness Cellars was the top pick of the bunch and the other wineries could learn a few lessons from this well organized business. Our group was greeted by the personnel and escorted into the wine tasting area. We were treated to some different varieties of their wines (all of which tasted terrific) and giving information to help us understand what makes the Leoness wines different from the rest. We then walked through their outdoor vineyard down to their barrel room where we sat at large tables and were provided with more samples and knowledge. They took a lot of time to talk to us and give us information about how they make their wines (rather than give you samples and send you on your way like the other wineries). When we were finished we had the opportunity to purchase some of their wines (naturally) and they arranged to have our buses pick us up at the barrel room. Overall this was by far the best treatment that we received from any of the wineries. It just so happened that they had the best tasting wines as well (my opinion along with others in our group). You won't go wrong here. They also serve food.

The Temecula Visitor Center provided a very comprehensive list of wineries with tours in Temecula Valley. I used this list to make a last minute attempt to find a winery with tasting and a tour without a reservation. I drove to Leoness Cellars to try and get on the first tour of the day. It was a cold and cloudy Friday morning, when I arrived at the almost empty parking lot. Since I was traveling alone, the friendly staff at the winery were able to accommodate me. They escorted me to the tour that was just starting and provided me with a wine glass. The very outgoing tourguide immediately filled my glass, and started a very informative tour. She offered to take photos, which I have included with this review. The scenery around the winery was spectacular, even though the grapevines were dormant for the winter. The tasting included 5 wines and 1 port with chocolate. The one hour tour took everyone through the vineyard, and ended up at the wine cellar. The price of over $20 was well worth the cost. There are several opportunities to purchase bottles of wine and join their wine club. I would not hesitate to recommend this winery, but as with most of the wineries there, you should make a reservation in advance. Don't forget to bring your camera!

Visited Leoness Winery on the weekend and found it very crowded so had difficulty founding a parking spot after which was hard to find a spot to do the tastings. We are familiar with their wine and do enjoy it but just don't like the crowds so will come again during the week. Purchased 2 bottles of wine and after waiting for an open spot sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the view of the vineyards while sipping our wine.

We have tasted some great wines in our lifetime and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of wine! the service was friendly and attentive !However felt this area nickels and dimes u ....I inquired if they would waive tasting fee if we bought wine (as is standard at wineries in other wine regions) and was shocked when they said "no"... Oh well had similar at other wineries so feel this is standard for the area

The Staff at Leoness is so helpful and friendly. We have been here many times and always have a great time. We love to sit on the patio with a glass of our favorite wine looking over the vineyards. Our favorite winery to visit in Temecula!

Being from the east coast we get our share of high end Napa, Sonoma and even Santa Barbara wines but never saw any from Temecula. Reading wine mags for years I heard about the area and we side-tracked one day on a business trip to San Diego. I picked Leoness because another wine website I use had a large number of user reviews of their wines. Great setting and we went on a Monday so it wasn't crowded at all. Erin spent a lot of time with us telling us the history of the place, the wine making philosophy and poured us many of their cellar selections followed by special selections of the same varietal. Really could pick out the differences in complexity between the two. We sampled a good dozen or so and there wasn't a bad one in the bunch.I'm a wine collector with ten plus years of tasting and was impressed enough to join the wine club to get some of these gems. Sipping a 2012 single vineyard Syrah on the beautiful grounds in 70 degree sunny weather was wonderful but we cruelly sent pictures to our friends and family in CT who we're getting dumped on by 12" of snow that same day! If only we could sell everything to live on those vineyards.

This was our first trip to Temecula and we happened upon Leoness by Groupon - they were offering a discount on their Signature Tasting (we paid $39). Leoness was our first stop and by far our best stop. The Signature Tour was perfect. We went to three other wineries and we experienced the normal tasting where the wineries were just too understaffed to pour your wine let alone talk to you about their wine. With the Signature Tour we had two hours to taste the wine and tour the winery. Each wine was explained to us and nicely paired with a cheese or fruit (or truffle!). Tony was very knowledgable, friendly and engaging. We ended up joining the wine club and walking out with a case of wine. The winery and the views are beautiful. There is a restaurant that we wanted to try but we ran out of time. We went on to visit three other wineries and while each had gorgeous grounds and shops, we didn't enjoy any of the other wines enough to purchase. If you do decide to go to Leoness, I recommend the extra time and money to partake in the Signature Tour. I am looking forward to going back to pick up February's wine shipment and try some of their other wines.

Astonished at the litany of good reviews about theirs wines. I am not an expert, but I've got some experience and found their wines to be over priced. My primary complaint is that each wine we tasted was dominated by one note. Their wines lacked complexity and too many had a "short finish." In other words their wine were "boring", which was a sentiment shared by my fiancee. The server was over worked the day we went and was unable to say much about their wines so we did not get much background information here. They are also one of the more expensive wine tastings in the area. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

We had the most amazing tour at Leoness. A beautiful winery and vineyard. Annie, our tour guide, gave us a wonderful and thorough presentation on the operations of the vineyard. We walked through the vines to taste grapes, visited the press and fermentation operations, the barrel room. And were treated to their wonderful wines. Although you can arrange an individual tour, we toured 4 vineyards with Grapeline Tours. A wonderful opportunity to learn about a beautiful area.
