Beautiful area for a stroll. Well taken care of with posted historical information nicely displayed.

We were pleasantly surprised to see the quality of the playground equipment when we got to the park. Great water views and a fun place to spend time with the kids.

This is such a beautiful place to bicycle or walk through. There are picnic areas and golfing greens nearby.

Glorietta Bay Park is the perfect park! Activities for the kids, beautiful views, bike trails...... Coronado Island is a wonderful place to be, how can you go wrong? :)

You must get there early as people come in from all over to be on the bay with the bridge and the city as the backdrop amongst the sailboats. We found places to sit on the walls but you may consider bringing chairs and an ise cooler with drinks like water.

An ideal picnic choice for young families or small family gatherings.There are many plusses to mention: Let's start with the amazing scenery: Impressive, calming views of the San Diego skyline, the passing boats & yachts, even the Coronado Bridge. A large grass area, with a limited sandy beach.It's a 'safe' park. No alcohol, smoking or dogs allowed. There are public restrooms and swings for kids of all ages. There are public restrooms - ALWAYS escort the younger kids.The few minuses: You could wade into the water, & visitors actually swim here. But I wouldn't. The Bay has discharge from a lot of ships, so I wouldn't go deeper than my knees, just to cool off. (But wash off, if you can). And parking is limited, so come early! There is street parking in the neighborhood, too.Directions: If you're arriving from the Coronado Bridge, get on the extreme right lane, and take the 1st immediate exit. Keep right, enter the loop, and enjoy your family experience.
