First class from the moment we arrived until we departed the next day, it is an iconic Chateau with incredible accommodations and beautiful décor, manicured gardens and delicious wine tasting with food pairings. We had the wine tour, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and everyone is very accommodating. Our suite had a cozy fireplace, beautiful dining area, very large bathroom and a nice bedroom with a balcony overlooking the original wood barrels... couldn't have asked for more.
Really enjoyed our personal tour and tasting the Jordan wines. We had a great experience and enjoyed the friendly staff that helped make the tasting so nice. I have had Jordan wines before and am happy to say that they will be on our wine list when we open our wine bar later this year.
The tasting here was absolutely beautiful and unlike the tastings anywhere else. They served us a lovely cheese plate with 3 different vintages of the same Cabernet. Well worth the price. Make sure to make a reservation in advance.
Jordan Vineyard & Winery is a beautiful property - the chateau, oak barrels, farm, etc. The wine is pretty spectacular as well.
My partner's favourite wine and they made a believer of me. The entrance of the estate was beautiful as was the building. Excellent wines served by knowledgeable host in intimate sit down library setting, paired with cheeses. We of course purchased!
This is really one of the best wine tours. First the estate is beautiful and the views are gorgeous but the whole experience is so personal and so much more than just a normal tour and wine tasting. I really enjoyed our guide and the background on the wine. They pair the wine with the most delicious little snacks and all in all it is an unforgettable experience! Make sure you make it a priority early and make reservations...you will not regret it!
Jordan's tour and testing are top shelf, as are the grounds and the entire facility. And the wines are close to the best that the valley has to offer. The tour requires reservations and is more expensive than most, but it is worth the extra. So is each of their Cabernet Sauvignons going back to the 1990s.
Having toured so many wineries over the years, the Jordan Winery is a standout as to the attractive setting. The interiors were a bit staid, and the cabernet is definitely delicious. But it doesn't merit the high price when compared to others in the price range.
Stunning chateau, stunning winery, stunning wines!Rob Davis continues to out do himself with each passing vintage, and the hospitality of the crew is simply the best in the business. Nitsa and Todd are fabulous, and you may even run into John Jordan himself to welcome you to the estate.Take the time, make the reservation and experience the top-tier of California wine country!
Love these vineyards and back-roads for unharried motorcycle riding, and beautiful weather. We trailer the moto from LA and take leisurely days riding the mountains. At the very end, a shared wine tasting just before heading back to the B&B is the prefect ending to a perfect day.Jordan was one of our favorite tastings. The grounds and chateau are spectacular. And the wines are perfection. Also visited his daughter's vineyard, "J" wines. Wonderful sparking wines, and she is doing her dad proud! Can't wait to return.
For starters, arriving at the Jordan estate is like going to a chateau in the French countryside. It's beautifully manicured and elegant and a joy to see. We had booked a library tasting which included a bit of food. We started in the library with Jordan Chardonnay (nice but I have had better) and then moved to Mr Jordan's private room where we tasted three BIG red wines with bread, cheese, and olive oil (from the estate). I'm not a red wine drinker but my husband is, and he thoroughly enjoyed the three vintages of Jordan cabs. The whole thing was very well organized and included recipes and detailed info on the wines we tasted.
Jordan Winery will be on my list as a must go back. Planning on returning next year for another tour and tasting. Jayson was our guide and did an excellent job of taking care of us like we were family.
Jordan produces some of the best wines! Their three hour estate tour is a must when visiting Healdsburg! What a great experience!
Not sure when we arrived, too clubby, too upscale? All was put to rest with a warm and friendly welcome. The whole experience would remind one of European or French Estate. The grounds are gorgeous and well manicured. The inside is very well appointed and full of pleasant surprises. Jordan's wine tasting is my favorite in terms of quality food, parings and of course the wine is outstanding. If your wine pallet is not yet developed you may be a bit overwhelmed. Jordan is a real experience worth the effort to get there. Be prepared to be wowed or at the very least well rewarded with great wine and a fine experience.
very nice tasting in pretty special surroundings. Lydia was our host and she was the consummate professional and a perfect pairing with the ambience of the estate, the wine and the weather.A few hours well spent
