My daughter goes to UND but we had never really taken the time to see all it offers. Everything is very close and basically walkable...great food options are available to both students and visitors. There sports facilities are second to none. We walked from a hockey game at 10:30 at night and found it to be very safe.

We toured UND as a potential college for my daughter. Very well organized tour and since it was 20-some below (with windchill) they drove us around campus. Well Done!

A guided tour with 'ole Gracie. It is a fabulous venue. The students/sports people who are privileged to play here a blessed. It is very special.

Good school, specially for medical related careers. Only downfall I know of is deep rooted in the 'old boy network' that runs many aspects fo the school and their highly paid staff. Watch out for drunk fest parties on and near campus and look for quiet places to study away from the fashionable crowds and your kids will be just fine.

Old school charm with modern amenities like a fantastic work out center, a great hockey center, Alerus arena for football, a book store like a small Barnes and Noble.

We went to a UND hockey game. Not like I remember the games from 20 years ago. The facility is beautiful, the game was excellent and the fans were positive.

Nice big campus, the underground tunnels are suuuper nifty in the freezing winters. Good facilities and plenty of action nearby!

This is the top University of North Dakota, located in Grand Forks in the North East corner of the state. It has extensive on site student housing and both modern and old buildings. The campus is relatively compact with huge lawns and a cooley running alongside the campus. Cooly, some would call it a creek, has gentle slopes of grass where students can sprawl out while studing and enjoying the sunshine in the fall and spring; in the winter everything is coved with snow. The University has the largest fleet of airplanes of any of the other colleges in the USA. It is a big aerospace program, including one of the largest Aircraft Controller programs. They just honored one of the graduates for having been one of the first women to be on the Space Station. The tuition cost is low compared to other schools, however, it is difficult to be accepted. There are way more people entry then there is capacity. It is probably the one with the most foreign students' applications and acceptances. Probably because of the high academic standards and the low cost.It has the highest percentage of graduates going on to graduate school of any college in the USA. That is probably not surprising, since North Dakota has the highest percentage of its population receiving post graduate degrees. The best time to visit is not in Winter. However, the weather is perfect in the Fall, Spring and Summer.

And was pleasantly given a tour of the art on Campus by Michael(?). His brother had done one of the pieces on campus. An Eagle made of rebar. Other sculptures out of rock, copper etc. Very enjoyable.

This campus has been things positive going for it. They offer a broad range of undergraduate, graduate and professional school courses. They have a huge Med School and a new one being built. There is a Law School that ranks nearly the lowest in the nation for cost. Right now there is a lot of construction going on around campus including the Law School, Med School, and dining center. Whatever you are looking to pursue UND will likely have it. There are many great people on campus to assist you any way they can.

We always try to drive through college campuses whenever we visit a town. UND is very nice campus and has some interesting buildings and nice sports facilities. They have a nice bookstore as well.

We took friends from Arizona on a tour of the entire campus and they were amazed at the combination of old and new buildings blending together so nicely. It really is a terrific looking campus!

My son attended hockey camp at UND and we were able to see most of the campus. Very well kept and people were nice that we encountered.

As a college student at UND, the atmosphere is perfect. I love the green space in the middle of campus, and my favorite spot is the treasured Adelphi Fountain in the middle of campus near the Chapel. The campus is always beautiful whether it be dead winter or middle of summer. The environment is welcoming to students, and the professors are willing to help.

Very easy to get around. Faculty and students very friendly and provide great directions. The student union is a great building and make sure you stop by the Medical School. Very nice inside.
